Sobre el Puesto
Buscamos un Consultor de Operaciones y Tecnología para Restaurantes con experiencia y conocimientos sólidos de la industria. En este puesto, el candidato trabajará directamente con dueños y operadores de restaurantes, ayudándoles con los retos fundamentales del negocio, desde operaciones hasta marketing y crecimiento. La persona en este puesto orientará a los restaurantes sobre soluciones tecnológicas disponibles y recomendará las soluciones más adecuadas al negocio. Este puesto requiere pasión y conocimiento del sector restaurantero, afinidad por la tecnología, y facilidad para generar y cultivar relaciones dentro de la industria.

El candidato(a) ideal cuenta con experiencia directa en la industria restaurantera, idealmente con restaurantes independientes manejados directamente por sus dueños y tienen buen conocimiento de cómo aplicar tecnología en este contexto. Este puesto requiere curiosidad y disposición proactiva con las relaciones de nuestros clientes y negocios de interés. Quienes disfruten crear y mantener relaciones óptimas con nuestros clientes tendrán mayor éxito en este puesto.

Este puesto requiere fluidez completa en inglés y español, tanto hablado como escrito, para poder comunicarse directamente con dueños, operadores y con los empleados de los restaurantes de habla hispana.

Responsabilidades

  • Asesorar a los operadores de restaurantes, respondiendo sus preguntas sobre su negocio y/o tecnología, y ayudándoles a identificar posibles soluciones para su empresa.
  • Conectar a los operadores de restaurantes con proveedores externos previamente evaluados, actuando como intermediario y representante para facilitar la mejor solución al mejor precio.
  • Generar relaciones de forma proactiva con el equipo de ventas de nuestra empresa matriz, posicionándote como un recurso confiable tanto para ellos como para sus clientes.
  • Colaborar en la evaluación de nuevos proveedores externos.
  • Mantenerte al tanto sobre nuevas tecnologías para restaurantes y cómo estas se integran al negocio.
  • Apoyar eventos y necesidades internas y externas, incluyendo webinares, participaciones en podcasts, ferias gastronómicas y más.
  • Trabajar de forma colaborativa con los equipos de Producto, Contenido y Crecimiento para aportar a las estrategias del equipo.

Requisitos

  • Residir y estar legalmente autorizado para trabajar en los Estados Unidos.
  • Dominio bilingüe total del inglés y el español (hablado y escrito).
  • 5 años o más de experiencia en la industria restaurantera, idealmente en restaurantes independientes manejados directamente por sus dueños, con experiencia relevante en consultoría de negocios o en proveedores de tecnología para restaurantes.
  • Experiencia y conocimiento en operaciones y crecimiento de restaurantes, desde la perspectiva de un dueño o gerente general.
  • Experiencia y conocimiento en tecnología y servicios de soporte para restaurantes.
  • Experiencia comprobada en la cultivación y gestión de relaciones con clientes; capacidad de comunicarse eficazmente con dueños de negocios y líderes.
  • Experiencia previa en roles de ventas, altamente valorada.
  • Alta curiosidad y fuerte deseo de aprender.
  • Actitud positiva, receptivo a entrenamiento, con atención al detalle y buenas habilidades analíticas, organizacionales y de manejo de tareas múltiples.
  • Cómodo con la ambigüedad y con una mentalidad emprendedora (tipo start-up) en su forma de trabajar.
  • Título universitario de 4 años en un campo relacionado (preferido) o experiencia equivalente.

 

Restaurant Operations & Technology Consultant

The Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Restaurant Operations & Technology Consultant. This role works directly with restaurant owners/operators, assisting them with core business challenges (from operations to marketing/growth), educating them on 3rd party restaurant technology solutions, and consulting on applicable solutions. This role requires a knowledge and passion for restaurants, affinity towards technology, and desire to proactively build relationships in the industry.

The successful candidate has direct experience working in the restaurant industry, ideally at independent, owner-operated restaurants, and understands technology through that lens. This role will require curiosity and proactive customer/stakeholder engagement. Those who love building and maintaining relationships will have the most success.

This role requires full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, spoken and written, in order to communicate directly with Spanish-speaking restaurant owners, operators, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with restaurant operators to answer questions about their business and/or technology, assisting to identify potential solutions for their business
  • Connect restaurant operators to vetted 3rd party vendor solutions, acting as advocate and broker to facilitate best solution at preferred pricing
  • Proactively build relationships with our parent company sales organization, positioning yourself as a trusted resource for them and their customers
  • Assist in new 3rd party partner vetting
  • Continuously learn about new restaurant technology and how it fits into a restaurant business
  • Support internal and external events and needs, including webinars, podcast guest spots, food shows, and more
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Content, and Growth partners to inform team strategies

Requirements

  • Must reside in and be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  • 5+ years of experience in the restaurant industry, ideally at independent/owner-operated restaurants, with relevant business consulting or restaurant technology vendor experience
  • Experience and knowledge in restaurant operations and growth, from owner or general manager perspective
  • Experience and knowledge in restaurant technology and support services
  • Proven experience in customer relationship building and management; ability to effectively communicate with business owners and leaders
  • Past sales role experience highly valued
  • Highly curious with a strong desire to learn
  • Positive attitude, coachable, detail-oriented with good multitasking, analytical, and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and applies a start-up mentality to how they approach their work
  • 4 year college degree in related field preferred or an equivalence of experience
