Job Summary:

Imagine being at the heart of transforming how software is built, released, and scaled in a multi-cloud, cloud-native world. In this role, you won’t just maintain pipelines — you’ll shape the future of CI/CD with Kubernetes, GitOps, and next-gen release automation. From driving DORA metrics to enabling lightning-fast rollbacks, you’ll directly impact how innovation reaches millions of users.

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will lead the Release and DevOps initiatives in delivering high-quality, reliable product releases at scale. You’ll oversee system infrastructure initiatives, modernize and optimize automation frameworks, manage multi-cloud deployments, and ensure release excellence. This role blends technical leadership, platform engineering, and release strategy — empowering you to influence architecture decisions, accelerate delivery, and raise the bar for operational excellence.

What Is Exciting About This Opportunity

  • Cutting-Edge Tech Stack: Work at a dynamic pace with the hottest cloud-native technologies — Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code — across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

  • Platform Transformation: Be a key driver in implementing next-gen tools and strategies that are reshaping Reltio’s internal infrastructure platform.

  • AI-First Future: Join a company whose product roadmap is directly focused on AI enablement for enterprise customers, with strong investment in AI-driven tooling and processes.

  • Challenging & Impactful Problems: Tackle the unique challenge of blending Master Data Management (MDM) with Big Data — solving for cost efficiency, high reliability, and always-on availability at scale.

  • Innovation in Operations: Bring fresh, automated approaches to scalability, capacity management, cost optimization, and elasticity, directly shaping how enterprise platforms evolve

Roles and Responsibilities (As Release/DevOps Engineering).

As a Release Engineer

  • Strategic Release Planning: Drive the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across multiple products and environments.

  • Scalable Infrastructure: Lead initiatives to enhance infrastructure and deployment frameworks supporting mission-critical, highly scalable, and reliable services.

  • Improve Deployment Pipelines for DORA Metrics: Continuously refine release processes to reduce lead time, increase deployment frequency, lower change failure rate, and minimize MTTR. Implement automated health checks, canary rollouts, and real-time monitoring for measurable improvements.

  • Quick Rollback Mechanisms: Establish reliable rollback and recovery processes (feature flags, automated rollbacks, immutable releases) to ensure issues can be mitigated within defined timelines without customer disruption.

  • Mentorship & Best Practices: Guide DevOps and Release team members, sharing industry best practices and improving team performance across projects.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement standards and practices to maintain a 99.95% uptime SLA while ensuring reliability and resilience at scale.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Architects, Engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to align release strategies with business objectives.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize infrastructure, reduce release friction, and improve deployment velocity.

  • On-Call Support: Contribute to the team’s monthly on-call rotation, providing expertise in incident management and rapid resolution.

As a DevOps Engineer

  • Design & Automate Pipelines: Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Spinnaker) to accelerate software delivery.

  • Champion Next-Gen Tools: Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies such as GitOps, progressive delivery (e.g., Flagger, Argo Rollouts), and AI-driven testing tools to modernize release processes.

  • Kubernetes & Cloud-Native Expertise: Design and manage scalable Kubernetes-based environments using Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps principles. Implement advanced deployment strategies such as canary, blue/green, and rolling updates.

  • Monitoring & Observability: Integrate advanced monitoring, logging, and AIOps solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry) into pipelines to ensure high visibility and rapid incident response.

  • Security by Design: Implement DevSecOps practices, embedding vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code (OPA, Kyverno), and secrets management into pipelines.

  • Performance & Scalability: Continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines for speed, reliability, and scalability to support hundreds of daily deployments.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers and QA teams to enable continuous testing, shift-left strategies, and fast feedback loops.

    Qualification
    Experience & Expertise:
  • 8+ years in enterprise or SaaS software development/operations, with strong DevOps engineering and release management experience.
  • Proven track record of setting up end-to-end, fully automated delivery pipelines (source control, build, artifact management, deployment, monitoring).
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills, able to influence, align, and mentor across teams.
  • Results-driven and impact-focused, with a sharp eye on scalability, reliability, and business value.

As a Release Engineer:

  • Deliver scalable, resilient, high-velocity software releases with operational excellence.
  • Drive strategic release planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
  • Continuously improve DORA metrics by optimizing lead time, deployment frequency, and MTTR.
  • Ensure reliability through rollback mechanisms, automated health checks, and feature flags.
  • Adopt next-generation tools, including progressive delivery and AI-driven approach, to modernize release processes.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to on-call rotations, providing expertise in incident management.

As a DevOps Engineer:

  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available, cloud-native applications in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Deep knowledge of DevOps design patterns, processes, and best practices for resilient infrastructure.
  • Design, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
  • Manage scalable Kubernetes/cloud-native deployments with Helm, GitOps, and advanced strategies such as canary and blue/green.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
