Job Summary: 

As a Senior Technical Consultant in Professional Services, you'll lead the design and implementation of complex MDM solutions for Customers. Your role involves providing expert-level technical guidance, architecting robust data models, and overseeing the configuration and integration of Reltio MDM software. You'll lead Customer engagements, designing customized MDM frameworks, and integrating them seamlessly with existing systems. You'll mentor junior consultants, collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, and develop strategic solutions to address Data Unification challenges. Additionally, you'll contribute to thought leadership, and drive continuous improvement in MDM methodologies and best practices. Operating with autonomy, you will be responsible for identifying, addressing, and resolving key project issues and expected to engage in a Consultative/ Prescriptive manner with customers to enhance product adoption.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshops and meetings to gather and analyze business requirements for MDM initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis and profiling to assess the quality, consistency, and completeness of master data, identifying areas for improvement and remediation.
  • Design and develop robust data models for master data entities, attributes, and relationships, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and performance.
  • Oversee the integration of master data from disparate sources, defining data integration strategies, mappings, and transformations to ensure accurate and timely data synchronization.
  • Lead the technical implementation of MDM solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with existing systems and applications.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities within MDM solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Deep understanding of various Reltio implementation patterns for various Domains/Industry Use Cases.
  • Proficient in developing custom middleware applications on AWS and Java.
  • Develop custom components / product extensions when required during product implementation.
  • Establishes methodologies and protocols for fresh tasks and might assume a leadership role overseeing other team members.
  • Assist Project Manager in planning and driving low level project tasks by providing task/time details.
  • A high level of independent judgment and decision making capability throughout the implementation process.
  • Assist in the implementation activities of data migration from other MDM products to Reltio.
  • Train & Mentor Junior technical consultants and oversee their work items.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Perform code review of source code developed by team members. 
  • Facilitate technical discussions and whiteboarding for Reltio Implementation including Integrations and any other technical solutions as needed.
  • Liaising with management and stakeholders on project details, deadlines and escalation management.
  • Presenting feedback and suggestions relating to the implementation of assigned projects.
  • Growing relationships and building credibility with clients and sustain client satisfaction within the end-to-end implementation and thereafter.

Skills You Must Have: 

(Experience & Education | MDM Experience)

  • Has at least 8 years of overall technology implementations and progressive delivery experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical field.
  • Experience developing conceptual and physical solution architectures for solutions incorporating heterogeneous applications, technologies and platforms. 
  • Solid knowledge in database system and data modeling principles including entity-relationship modeling, dimensional modeling, and hierarchical modeling.
  • Knowledge of data quality concepts and methodologies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data.
  • 6+ years in programming/analysis/design with Java or similar programming language including but not limited to SQL, Python or Scala for data manipulation, scripting, and automation tasks.
  • Deep understanding of implementation patterns for various Domains/Industry Use Cases.
  • Experience in developing middleware applications on AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in writing KB articles, Whitepapers and communicating with executive-level audiences and adapting to various presentation formats. 
  • Experience with developing MDM solutions for at least 6 customers/projects or minimum 5 years of experience in MDM Technologies

Skills That Are Nice to Have:  

  • Familiarity with different types of database systems such as relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra), and in-memory databases (e.g., Redis).
  • Certifications in Java, Scrum/Agile methodology, cloud provider certifications 
  • Ability to design and implement data architectures that support MDM solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
