General Description

We’re looking for a commercially driven leader who can help manufacturers modernize operations through digital transformation, industrial data, and advanced software solutions. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, technology, and business strategy. You’ll work directly with industrial customers to uncover operational challenges, shape high-value digital solutions, and drive growth across services such as MES/MOM, data platforms, analytics, and Industrial AI. You’ll collaborate closely with account managers, solution architects, practice leaders, and delivery teams to turn complex operational problems into measurable business outcomes.

Specific Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Identifying and developing new opportunities in digital manufacturing and industrial data services
  • Leading customer conversations around operational efficiency, production visibility, quality, downtime reduction, and digital transformation
  • Helping customers define strategies for MES/MOM, industrial data infrastructure, analytics, and AI-enabled operations
  • Building business cases, ROI narratives, and executive presentations that connect technology investments to operational outcomes
  • Partnering with technical teams to shape solution concepts, proposals, pilots, and implementation roadmaps
  • Developing go-to-market messaging, customer success stories, and reusable sales tools for the broader commercial organization
  • Working across multiple software ecosystems and technology partners to deliver best-fit customer solutions

  • Limited visibility into plant performance and production data
  • Disconnected manufacturing systems and siloed operational data
  • Manual reporting and inefficient decision-making processes
  • Downtime, quality, throughput, and OEE challenges
  • Difficulty scaling digital manufacturing initiatives across facilities
  • Lack of actionable insights from industrial data
  • Identifying practical and scalable Industrial AI use cases

  • Collaborative, self-directed, and effective in team-selling environments
  • Curious about emerging manufacturing technologies, analytics, and Industrial AI applications
  • Skilled at navigating complex sales cycles and shaping large strategic opportunities

Qualifications

Required Competencies

  • Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams, SharePoint) and Copilot Proficiency
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with practical execution skills
  • Customer-focused and outcomes-oriented mindset
  • Ability to engage, influence, and present to senior-level customer stakeholders
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating across ambiguity
  • Effective both as an individual contributor and a team collaborator
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • US Citizenship required
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated history of success in business development, consulting, or enterprise solution sales
  • Experience selling or delivering one or more of the following: MES / MOM platforms; Industrial data architectures and historians; Data engineering, analytics, reporting, or AI/ML solutions; Industrial software, automation, or digital transformation initiatives

Preferred Experience/Competencies

  • Demonstrated success in solution selling of software and services, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to operate effectively across a multi-partner, multi-technology ecosystem
  • Prior exposure to regulated or complex manufacturing environments (e.g., Life Sciences, Chemical, Food & Beverage, Energy)
