About the Role: Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Are you someone who loves to care for others with kindness and dedication? As a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) at Remedy Home Health, you’ll be the friendly face that brings comfort and dignity to patients in their own homes. Your care will help promote independence and improve the quality of life for your patients – and that’s truly a gift!


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Vital Signs Pro: You’ll measure and document vital signs during every visit – it’s an essential part of your job to monitor patient health.
  • Personal Care Guru: Assist patients with their daily hygiene routines – bathing, grooming, and oral care, all while making them feel respected and cared for.
  • Mobility Support: You’ll help patients move and stay active, whether it’s with transfers, walking, or prescribed exercises.
  • Meal Time Magic: Prepare nutritious meals and help with feeding, including following any special diet plans.
  • Medication Reminders: You’ll remind patients to take their meds – but no need to administer them, just keeping everyone on track!
  • Housekeeping Hero: Light housekeeping like changing linens and ensuring a clean, safe environment will be part of your day.
  • Observe & Report: Keep an eye out for changes in the patient’s condition and report those to the supervising nurse or therapist.
  • Care Plans are Your Blueprint: You’ll follow care plans and assist with specific needs under professional guidance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Certification: You’re a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) through the Department of Health Services.
  • Language Skills: You’re fluent in English, both spoken and written – clear communication is key!
  • Skills to Shine: You’ve got the hands-on experience and competency needed to care for patients and complete all assigned tasks.
  • People Skills: You’ve got an easy smile and a natural ability to build trust with patients and fellow team members.
