Benefits Manager

Summary: The Benefits Manager is responsible for the design, administration, communication, and compliance of the organization’s employee benefits programs. This role ensures that all benefits offerings are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals and culture. The Benefits Manager partners with HR leadership, finance, and external vendors to optimize the employee experience and manage all aspects of benefits administration.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and administer employee benefits programs including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations relating to benefits.
  • Communicate benefits information effectively to employees and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and select benefits vendors, negotiating contracts and managing relationships.
  • Analyze benefits data to recommend improvements and cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to align benefits strategies with organizational goals.
  • Handle employee inquiries and resolve benefits-related issues.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in benefits management or a related HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration software.

 

Pay Range

$80,000 - $88,000 USD
