How we work
We love working async and this means you get to do your own schedule.
We empower ownership and proactivity and when in doubt default to action instead of waiting.
The position
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Video Content Producer, joining our Design team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for telling our story and the stories of our products and customers through video and engaging motion graphics. You’ll blend your solid eye for design with your top-notch technical and editing skills as you focus on videography and post-production to deliver high-quality, timely projects.
This is a hands-on creative production role. We're looking for candidates who are creators: Motion Designers, Video Editors, or Motion Graphics Artists who thrive in After Effects. Candidates with a strong reel showcasing video storytelling and motion design and technically skilled, creatively driven makers who can manage projects end-to-end.
What you need to be successful
- Demonstrable expertise in end-to-end motion design and video production
- Proven ability to create standout content: explainers, product videos, ads, podcasts, webinars, social media clips, and more
- Strong understanding of the full production pipeline—from concept and scripting to post-production and distribution
- Passion for using video to convert audiences into customers
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A proven ability to structure compelling narratives for audiovisual formats
- Experienced with After Effects expressions and workflow automations
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and tools like Figma or Illustrator
- Up to date on current video trends, tools, and techniques
- Ability to use stock creatively and shoot footage when needed (a plus)
- Experience with AI video tools (a plus)
- A kind, empathetic, and inclusive teammate
- Remote async experience is considered a plus
We are not looking for
If your background is primarily in social media management, marketing strategy, communications, or brand operations—this may not be the right fit. Also not a fit:
- Hands-off producers (e.g., budget/project-only roles)
- Social Media Managers, Marketing Managers, Communications Officers, or Photographers
- Candidates who manage creative projects but don’t directly create motion/video content themselves
In this role, you will
- Work with the Growth team to conceptualize content worthy of attracting and converting our ideal customer profiles into Remote customers. This will include:
- Producing original, creative and engaging story-driven content to excite, inspire and surprise our audiences.
- Producing insightful, informative, and practical educational content to teach our audience strategic and tactical concepts
- You’ll need to write scripts, direct shoots, animate, manage talent, record and edit video and audio content for publication across a number of digital formats.
- You’ll work on video and audio content for the Remote blog, website, events, and social media channels, collaborating with industry experts, brand partners, external publishers, customers, and team members daily.
- You may also be charged with managing projects as a one-person studio - handling all aspects of filming from audio to video.
- You will actively explore new video formats and channels to convert our target audience into subscribers.
