Impact of a Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), you will serve as the essential operational bridge between our engineering teams and one of our major enterprise partners. Operating at the intersection of fast-moving infrastructure delivery and structured customer communications, you will translate enterprise requests into clear, actionable technical initiatives, track commitments through completion, and insulate SRE engineers from routine meeting overhead. Your work directly builds account trust, ensuring critical reliability projects ship smoothly while establishing practical, lightweight project management foundations across our growing SRE organization.

What to expect

  • Own partner communications: Serve as the primary coordination point for our strategic partner, leading regular status updates, managing expectations, and keeping issue trackers (Jira/Linear) accurately synced.

  • Translate & coordinate technical work: Break down customer requests and post-incident follow-ups into clear, prioritized tasks for SRE, Security, and Product teams.

  • Drive operational visibility: Track project milestones, identify cross-team dependencies, and flag delivery risks early across infrastructure, monitoring, and capacity planning initiatives.

  • Unblock engineering teams: Protect SRE focus time by handling routine stakeholder meetings, project administration, and ticket follow-through.

  • Evolve internal workflows: Help establish flexible, pragmatic project tracking practices that fit our environment and the team frameworks.

What you bring

  • Cross-functional project experience: 3+ years managing technical projects, program coordination, or customer delivery in software, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps environments.

  • Adaptive stakeholder management: Proven ability to balance the structured, formal expectations of corporate enterprise clients with the fluid, fast-moving environment of a scale-up.

  • Foundational technical literacy: Comfortable speaking the language of cloud infrastructure, web hosting, Linux, and containers to accurately convey project status without needing to make technical design decisions.

  • Pragmatic execution: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, establishing clarity from fragmented requests, and creating accountability without over-engineering processes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication: Confidence communicating effectively with enterprise customers and senior internal stakeholders.

Bonus

  • Prior experience managing technical relationships or delivery for enterprise clients.

  • Experience bridging workflows across multiple project tools (e.g., Linear and Jira).

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
