Recruiting Coordinator

San Francisco Bay Area

At Render, we're dedicated to building a powerful and user-friendly cloud that simplifies hosting for every developer and team. Our platform supports a wide range of applications, from simple static sites to complex multi-service architectures. By offering the flexibility of traditional cloud providers without their associated complexity and maintenance challenges, we enable our users to concentrate on product development instead of managing servers.

Our team is a diverse and talented group addressing universal challenges of software development. We prioritize rapid iteration while maintaining a strong focus on user experience, craft, and reliability. This commitment drives us to improve continually. Our organic, product-led growth has attracted over 2 million developers, with 100,000+ new developers signing up every month. Our customers trust Render for our reliable and scalable cloud with enterprise-grade capabilities, fully managed datastores, and advanced security and compliance features.

In January 2025, we reached a significant milestone by raising $80 million in Series C financing, bringing our total funding to $157M. This investment enables us to accelerate our vision of making cloud infrastructure both powerful and intuitive while catering to the evolving needs of the AI era.

Applying to Render:

We're looking for candidates with high integrity, low ego, and an insatiable drive to learn. We use reasoned discussion and constant feedback to improve as individuals and as a company. We cultivate mutual trust and respect, empowering us to debate ideas effectively and create the best outcomes for our customers and our team. We especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in the tech community to apply.

Our interview process is unique to each role, and we value the candidate experience just as much as our customer experience. We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.

About the role:

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you'll play an essential role in building an exceptional team at Render. By operating as the backbone of our recruiting process, you will learn about every step in the candidate journey. You'll support our hiring efforts with critical, high-impact deliverables, all while keeping an excellent candidate experience at the forefront.

What you’ll do at Render:

  • Develop strong candidate relationships with key stakeholders (recruiters, hiring managers, interviewers, and leadership) to craft and execute best-in-class interview processes for all roles.
  • Schedule a high volume of interviews ranging from introduction calls, technical/secondary screens, onsite interview loops, and prep/debrief meetings.
  • Utilize our applicant tracking system and other related tools effectively.
  •  Proactively surface opportunities to improve and streamline our processes.
  • Own projects that directly impact Render's growth, such as employer branding efforts, referral initiatives, and more.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 3+ years as a recruiting coordinator in a fast paced startup
  • Detail-oriented to deliver a polished candidate experience across all stages of the interview process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: clear, concise, and personable.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Enthusiastic about being a recruiting generalist and pitching in wherever necessary.

The starting salary for this contract role is between $30-45 per hour USD. Our openings span more than one career level. The provided salary depends on many factors, such as work experience and transferable skills, business needs and impact, and market demands. Render is an equal-opportunity employer. We know employing a team rich in diverse thoughts, experiences, and opinions allows our employees, our product, and our community to flourish. We make all employment decisions including hiring, evaluation, termination, promotional, and training opportunities, without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, physical handicap, mental disability, medical condition, disability, gender or identity or expression, pregnancy or pregnancy-related condition, marital status, height and/or weight.

We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us to request accommodation.

We encourage all who are interested to apply. We can't wait to hear from you!

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
