Oracle Forms Data & Reporting Engineer II

The Oracle Forms Data and Reporting Engineer II (DRE2) is an integral part of the Technical Services & Support team. The DRE2 will work with the Database Engineers to maintain database objects including tables, functions, stored procedures, views, triggers and packages. In addition, the DRE2 will assist with developing and maintaining custom client reports. The DRE2 will assist with Professional Services projects and handle Tier 2 support tickets from internal Ren teams. They will be trained on Ren systems, platforms, database needs and internal processes in the onboarding process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review, document, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve customer’s data related issues.
Advanced PL/SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, materialized views, and views
Design, develop and maintain reports using Crystal reports and other tools.
Respond to requests within expected SLA timeframes.
Work closely with the software engineering teams to close data related defects in the software.
Developing new strategies and building internal processes that help make your support team's work easier.
Creating documentation and materials to help educate both your customers and fellow team members on data related aspects of the product.
Follow best practices and guidance around troubleshooting procedures and corresponding runbooks.
Provide knowledge base and help artifacts that increase customer self-service options.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in software development, computer science, business intelligence, data management, or other related fields
Experience with Oracle, Oracle Developer and Oracle Forms
3-5 years’ experience with Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, materialized views, and advanced queries
Strong communication skills
Financial Services experience
Experience with business intelligence tools, specifically Crystal Reports, Metabase preferred
Cloud data warehouse experience, Snowflake is preferred
