About the Job:

We’re looking for a smart and curious Senior Product Designer with demonstrated expertise across the fundamentals of UX, UI, interaction design, systems design, and testing/research. Our Product Designers own the design process from end-to-end: tirelessly advocating for the customer from initial ideation and vision work, through discovery and design, all the way to user testing and post-launch iterations. In this role, you will focus on our upper and mid-funnel customer growth strategies. In addition to working with your product and engineering partners, you will also work closely with the site merchandising and creative teams to improve key pages like our homepage, landing pages, product pages, and onboarding experience. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Create delightful mobile user experiences that are as functional as they are inspirational
  • Work with product managers and engineers to define product and project objectives, outlining the long-term goals and short-term deliverables
  • Lead and manage usability tests (setting up screeners, discussion guides, and moderating users)
  • Determine and manage various types of UX deliverables and solutions throughout the lifecycle of a project, from brief to launch
  • Marry product design work with the craft of brand and visual design to create functional and aesthetic experiences customers love
  • Communicate UX strategy and rationale for research, audits, personas, user flows, wireframes, content mapping, campaign flows and functional specs
  • Develop presentations articulating user experience strategy, opportunities and how usability relates to a larger brand experience
  • Evangelize product design and its methodology through the company culture

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a mobile consumer-focused business/product
  • You have a strong understanding of experience principles and customer needs such as motivations and behaviors, with the ability to translate them into engaging and actionable deliverables
  • Ability to create and present strategic experiences that ladder up into business goals and opportunities
  • You have excellent verbal and written skills to be able to communicate to both technical and non-technical savvy audience members
  • You can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure 
  • You have ability to critique the quality of both UX and visual designs to improve the final product experience 
  • You possesses strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership of projects
  • You have solid experience presenting to executives and guiding decisions for new enhancements, features or redesigns
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma (including prototyping) and UserTesting.com

The anticipated base salary for this position is $130 to $160. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
