About the Job:

As the Associate Manager, Social/Creative, you will own the day-to-day execution of our social media strategy for @RenttheRunway and our subproperties — @RTRMuse and executive channels. From managing influencer and creator content, to leading daily publishing and performance reporting, you’ll be the quarterback of the brand’s social presence. You’re someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and data, with deep knowledge of what drives reach, engagement, and growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage Influencer/Creator Pipeline: Maintain 5–10 relationships with influencers and creators, ensuring smooth coordination of content delivery, alignment with briefs, and feedback on submissions.
  • Manage Outreach: Proactively create a rolodex of creators, influencers, customers, and tastemakers to appear on RTR original programming 
  • Own the Editorial Calendar: Build and maintain a cross-platform content calendar that ladders up to key brand moments, launches, and campaigns.
  • Advocate of Brand Identity on Social: Leading caption development and Community Management for all social posts across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Substack, and YouTube. 
  • Post & Distribute Content: Own daily publishing across platforms, ensuring optimal timing, tagging, and formatting.
  • Lead Account Performance: Track and drive growth, engagement, and total impact across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Substack, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Daily & Weekly Reporting: Analyze performance metrics daily and compile weekly recaps with insights, wins, and next steps—especially attuned to virality, saves, and audience retention.
  • Trendspot & Move Fast: Identify and act on trends quickly, recommending reactive content or creator engagement that ladders into brand strategy.
  • Appear in RTR Content: Be an active “cast member” of RTR’s social content, comfortable with social media exposure 

 

What Success Looks Like:

  • You have impeccable taste and aesthetic filter; You are proud of the content you publish and understand brand and community integrity is a necessary, non-negotiable standard 
  • Expertise in social analytics and reporting, with hands-on experience using Sprout Social and other reporting listening tools.
  • Deep understanding of social trends, pop culture, and viral moments, with the ability to translate them into engaging brand content.
  • A strategic mindset—able to see the big picture while managing the fine details of execution.
  • Creative excellence and storytelling ability, understanding what makes content resonate across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Substack 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to pivot and adapt quickly to industry changes.
  • A passion for brand-building and an intuitive grasp of how to engage audiences authentically and consistently.

The anticipated salary for this position is $56,244 to $70,305. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
