Role Summary

The Finance Manager – Europe will be responsible for overseeing financial management, reporting, planning, and control for Reolink’s European operations, with a strong focus on e-commerce and marketplace business models. This role will act as a key finance business partner to commercial, operations, and tax teams, ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and scalable processes across the region.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for Europe entities, including GL processing, revenue recognition, and cost allocation across sales channels. 
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Ensure accurate financial consolidation with headquarters and timely reporting of Amazon sales performance, returns, and promotional costs.
  • Maintain and enhance NetSuite operations; develop custom workflows for Amazon reconciliation and inventory tracking.

2. E-commerce & Marketplace Finance

  • Manage financial operations for Amazon (1P & 3P), eBay, and DTC channels.
  • Oversee platform reconciliations, including sales, fees, returns, refunds, and chargebacks.
  • Partner with supply chain teams on inventory costing, write-offs, and margin analysis.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

  • Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes for Europe.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Support pricing, promotion, and profitability analysis by channel and market.

4. Cash, Working Capital & Treasury Support

  • Monitor AR, AP, and inventory levels to optimize working capital.
  • Support multi-currency cash management (EUR, GBP, USD) and cash flow forecasting.
  • Coordinate with Group Treasury on funding, FX exposure, and cash repatriation.

5. Tax, VAT & Cross-functional Coordination

  • Work closely with tax and external advisors on VAT compliance and reporting.
  • Support audits and regulatory reviews across European entities.
  • Act as a finance partner to commercial, operations, and IT teams.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
  • At least 3 years in e-commerce, marketplace, or digital business environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon (1P & 3P), eBay, Shopify, or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience managing multi-entity, multi-currency European operations.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, controls, and FP&A.

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is required.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Professional fluency in both English and German is required.
