Full job description
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Oversee full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets)- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS / Group reporting standards- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations with Singapore HQ- Maintain accurate cost allocation for service entity model
B. Budgeting & FP&A
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis- Monitor operational cost (especially payroll-heavy call centre costs)- Provide financial insights and cost optimisation recommendations- Support HQ in regional financial consolidation
C. Tax & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Philippines tax regulations (CIT, WHT, VAT, payroll taxes)- Manage tax filings and liaise with external advisors- Monitor PE risk and transfer pricing compliance- Ensure compliance with BIR requirements
D. Payroll & HR Finance Oversight
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory contributions- Validate compensation structure compliance- Ensure accurate tax computation for employees- Work closely with HR on manpower cost planning
E. Internal Controls & Audit
- Establish and maintain internal controls and SOPs- Ensure compliance with Group policies and audit requirements- Coordinate with external auditors- Drive process improvements
F. Treasury & Cash Management
- Monitor cash flow and working capital- Manage banking relationships- Ensure proper funding from HQ
G. Business Partnering
- Act as finance partner to operations team- Support decision-making with financial analysis- Provide insights on cost efficiency
3. RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance- CPA or equivalent preferred
Experience
- 6–10 years of relevant experience- Experience in BPO / Shared Services preferred- Strong knowledge of Philippines tax requirements
Technical Skills
- ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP)- Strong Excel skills- Knowledge of transfer pricing
Soft Skills
- Leadership and team management- Strong attention to detail- Communication and stakeholder management

- Timely and accurate financial reporting- Full compliance with statutory requirements- Cost control vs budget- Clean audit outcomes

Ensure Philippines entity operates as a compliant service hub aligned with Singapore HQ and supports regional expansion.
