Job Summary

The HR Manager​ will lead and oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR administration, compliance, and organizational development. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, sound judgment, and the ability to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives while ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead and own​ end-to-end recruitment strategy, including workforce planning, employer branding, sourcing channels, and selection processes.

  • Manage and mentor HR recruitment staff; ensure timely fulfillment of hiring requirements across all departments.

  • Partner with department heads to understand manpower needs, define role requirements, and advise on organizational structure.

  • Oversee onboarding programs to ensure a seamless integration experience for new hires.

  • Drive continuous improvement of recruitment processes, metrics, and candidate experience.

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Own and maintain​ the integrity of employee records, HR databases, and personnel masterfiles.

  • Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in line with Philippine labor laws and regulations.

  • Ensure full compliance with DOLE requirements, including employment contracts, statutory benefits, and government reporting.

  • Oversee attendance monitoring systems and ensure accuracy of employee data for payroll processing.

  • Manage employee documentation lifecycle: contracts, renewals, disciplinary records, and exits.

  • Lead audits of HR records and implement proper filing and data protection protocols.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.

  • Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and open communication channels.

  • Partner with management on performance management frameworks, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans.

  • Lead or support employee activities, town halls, and company events.

General HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage HR budget, vendor relationships, and external provider coordination (e.g., recruitment agencies, training providers, benefits administrators).

  • Oversee HR-related purchasing, inventory, and administrative requirements.

  • Prepare regular HR reports and analytics for management review (headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics, etc.).

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Senior Management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.

  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.

  • Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations management.

  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and HR best practices.

  • Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HR analytics tools is an advantage.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.

  • Willing to handle both strategic HR initiatives and operational/administrative responsibilities.
