Repisodic recently merged with Trella Health with the combined goals to transform care transitions and advance patient-centered outcomes. Read more about this partnership here.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Engineering team and help elevate quality, stability, and confidence in every product release.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in strengthening the quality foundation of our EHR-integrated platform. You will design and execute robust manual test plans, contribute to automation initiatives, and work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure new features meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and compliance.

You will also partner with Technical Product Managers to translate requirements into clear, testable outcomes, serving as a bridge between business intent and technical execution. This role requires a strong sense of ownership and accountability to deliver quality that healthcare providers and patients can depend on.

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid – 1x/week)
Reports to: Director of Engineering

As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test plans for new and existing features.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Product Managers to validate requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure test cases align with business goals.
  • Conduct regression, smoke, and functional testing across web and mobile environments.
  • Identify, document, and track defects clearly and comprehensively, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues beyond scripted tests.
  • Investigate complex problems, analyze root causes, and recommend process or product improvements.
  • Participate in release readiness activities and provide QA sign-off for production deployments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, including documentation, risk assessment, and test strategy.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership over product quality and proactively advocate for high standards throughout the development process.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership to expand automated coverage and embed quality earlier in the SDLC.

This job might be a fit for you if you have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA or testing, ideally within SaaS or enterprise environments.
  • A strong balance of manual testing expertise and familiarity with automation tooling such as frameworks, scripting, or CI integration.
  • Proven ability to design and execute structured test plans, cases, and documentation.
  • A strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering high-quality, reliable software that meets both business and technical goals.
  • Experience collaborating with Technical Product Managers and engineers to clarify requirements and translate them into measurable quality outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, troubleshoot issues, and think systemically.
  • Understanding of database validation and data integrity testing such as SQL or similar.
  • Familiarity with accessibility, security, and compliance standards such as WCAG, PII, SOC2, and HITRUST.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for building software that improves patient outcomes and simplifies healthcare delivery.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
