
National Account Manager

RES is seeking a dynamic National Account Manager to lead the strategic relationship with a major technology client as the exclusive nationwide account owner, driving revenue growth, environmental innovation, and deeper engagement. This role will focus on delivering tailored nature-based solutions, including mitigation credits, ecological uplift projects, and stormwater management strategies that align with the client’s data center projects, sustainability objectives, and long-term growth goals. As a trusted advisor, the ideal candidate will reduce development risk, maximize environmental impact, and position RES as the partner of choice for innovative, scalable environmental solutions.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
1. Strategic Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering a consultative, collaborative relationship focused on addressing sustainability goals and operational needs. Position RES as a critical partner in achieving the client’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives through high-value ecological solutions.
2. Tailored Solutions Development: Lead the development and delivery of custom solutions, such as stream and wetland restoration, tree planting, bioswales, and constructed wetlands, to enhance ecosystem services and manage stormwater onsite. Lead the coordination of client project execution across the RES business units. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all projects align with the client’s specifications and design principles.
3. Driving Revenue and Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client engagement through mitigation credit sales, ecological advisory services, and nature-based infrastructure projects. Develop and execute account strategies that align with the client’s business goals, ensuring revenue growth and the delivery of measurable value.
4. Regulatory Risk Reduction: Actively collaborate with RES’s regulatory experts to support the client’s permitting and compliance needs, streamlining project approvals and mitigating development risk.
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on account performance, ensuring client satisfaction, contract compliance, and achievement of revenue targets. Quantify and communicate the economic, societal, and environmental benefits of RES’s solutions to enhance the client’s stakeholder engagement.
6. Advocacy and Relationship Building: Build and nurture long-term client relationships, positioning RES as the preferred partner for sustainable development and operational resilience. Represent RES at industry events, fostering thought leadership and strengthening the company’s presence in the environmental solutions market.
Qualifications
• Proven experience working as a strategic partner with large data centers, in account management, sales, or business development, ideally with a focus on enterprise solution selling.
• Strong knowledge of environmental mitigation, ecological restoration, and nature-based infrastructure solutions
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and client growth goals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks, permitting processes, and ESG-related challenges is highly preferred.
