We are looking for bright, inquisitive graduates or early career professionals who are committed to pursuing a career in project management within international pharmaceutical market research and consultancy.

 

We are recruiting Project Executives to join our early careers programme in our Operations team, involving specialising in quantitative market research projects.

 

The RP Operations team works alongside our Custom and Syndicated research teams to deliver a broad range of qualitative and quantitative (ad hoc and tracking) studies for global pharmaceutical, MedTech and biotech clients to enable them to address product development, marketing, brand, advertising and communications objectives. Our studies are typically multi-market, encompassing respondents in Europe, North America and Emerging Markets.

 

Within this role you will be empowered to develop your project management expertise across the healthcare market research landscape, and will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of different experts in our teams.

 

Your primary role:

 

The role of the Project Executive is to cost and oversee the set up and management of fieldwork and data collection to ensure successful completion within best practices. You will also be expected to contribute to company operations processes; providing proactive ideas and plans about improving the efficiency of the project management function and projects. Core, but not exclusive, responsibilities will include:

 

  • Responsibility for sourcing, obtaining and negotiating commercially advantageous costs from external suppliers and panel providers for Research Partnership project proposals
  • Updating suppliers on the status of their quotes
  • Overseeing the smooth running of fieldwork management
  • Successful handover of project deliverables to research team:
    • Coordination of Data Processing (DP) work and deliverables, based on specs and templates provided by the project team (Quantitative-only)
    • Coordination of Qualitative deliverables, including: Transcripts and/or recordings (notes, videos, audio files) (Qualitative-only)
  • Own, coordinate and update project timelines with internal research and external client and supplier stakeholders
  • Take ownership for coordinating project team meetings
  • Responsibility for Pharmacovigilance and Adverse Event reporting
  • Coordination of client and supplier Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Client and supplier invoice management (PO numbers, invoicing and liaison with Finance team)

 

About You…

 

Your skills and experience:

 

  • You demonstrate strong capabilities in core project management competencies:
    • Organisation and ability to multi-task effectively
    • Communication
    • Prioritisation
    • Problem-solving
  • You are numerate with a high degree of accuracy, including financial and budget literacy
  • You have good interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • You are proactive with a can-do attitude; able to identify issues and generate solutions
  • You have excellent organizational skills, are able to multi-task whilst maintaining a high level of focus on each task
  • You are creative and like seeking out novel solutions to client problems
  • You have, or are predicted, a 2.1 or 1st class honours degree (or equivalent) OR you have 2+ years of experience in a relevant field (e.g. project management, data analysis or research fieldwork)
  • Ideally you have a degree in the sciences, management, social sciences, mathematics or modern languages, but we are open to degrees from any background. Degree programmes with a quantitative element are particularly of interest.

 

We will be recruiting these positions over the course of September and October 2025, with a start date in November 2025.

 

HYBRID WORKING MODEL:

 

This role will primarily be based in our offices in Putney, London, and candidates must be able to work from our offices for a minimum of 2 days per week (occasionally more for training, team meetings, etc.)

 

During the first 3 weeks of the role, there will be a full training programme, conducted in-person at our London offices. All applicants must be able to attend these sessions in-person.
