About the Role:

As the Associate Creative Director, Producer, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Creative Production to create impactful performance-driven ad campaigns. Your role will span the entire creative process, from writing scripts and developing creative briefs to planning shoots, overseeing on-set production, and managing the final execution of the ads you help bring to life.

You’ll wear multiple hats, acting as both a producer and director for Resident’s in-house creative studio. Our studio produces a wide range of content, from performance ad creative to branded lifestyle photography and video. Located in the Bay Area, California, our 15,000-square-foot facility supports an average of two to three shoots per month.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Create detailed creative briefs for performance productions, product pickup shoots, and other Ashley/Resident-related projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies and vendor partners.
  • Source and secure the appropriate creative resources for all productions.
  • Oversee production days to ensure seamless execution of creative briefs and alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage project timelines across pre-production, production, and post-production stages, ensuring all phases stay on schedule.
  • Deliver ad creative promptly to the growth team and manage the review and feedback process.
  • Collaborate with the Ashley team on new product shipments and manage product storage logistics.
  • Partner with the Video Production Lead to develop a continuous pipeline of ad variations for the growth team.
  • Write fresh scripts weekly to fuel the post-production creative pipeline and keep content innovative and engaging.

This role requires a highly organized and creative professional who can balance multiple projects while delivering impactful, on-brand content.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 6+ years in video production with a strong track record of delivering high-quality content.
  • 6+ years in creative direction, specifically within creative production.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a production studio environment.

Creative Expertise:

  • Proven ability to develop ad concepts, write compelling scripts, and create detailed shot lists.
  • Strong understanding of video post-production workflows and processes.
  • Experience creating performance-driven ads for TikTok and Meta channels.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of video equipment, technology, and production tools.
  • Familiarity with Meta platforms and media spend strategies.

Production Experience:

  • Experience working on larger production sets with extensive product assortments.
  • Skilled in managing talent and coordinating with large production crews.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Mindset:

  • Knowledge of performance creative strategies and a results-oriented approach to ad development.
