Senior Product Owner for Data & Audience Activation

We are growing our team and are looking for a highly talented seasoned Senior Product Owner to own our audience creation and activation capabilities. You'll leverage your deep understanding of consumer behavior, data analysis, AdTech landscape and data marketplaces to manage Resonate’s product offerings. In this role, you'll translate business requirements into product requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities 

  • Translate the product roadmap into business cases, requirements, and success metrics for products and solutions 
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Data Activation on priorities and requirements to ensure alignment with overall product roadmap.  
  • Translate requirements into user stories, manage the product backlog within Jira, identify stories for upcoming sprints, lead refinement sessions with Engineering team, and own all Sprint ceremonies and artifacts. 
  • Participate in Agile scrum team meetings to represent the needs of the client/business and clarify Solution Specifications as needed 
  • Ensure that the appropriate tracking and reporting is in place to track performance post launch to evaluate future investment 
  • Identify risks, challenges, opportunities, and business integration needs 
  • Support product & sales functions by providing data expertise, feasibility reviews, and detailed analysis of questions raised by internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Stay ahead of the curve in digital marketing technologies, recommending and leading the adoption of cutting-edge DMP/DSP/SSP solutions to enhance reach, engagement, and targeting. 

  

Qualifications & Experience Requirements 

  • 4+ years’ experience as a product owner/manager of digital data in the advertising ecosystem, including identity and audience data creation and distribution. 
  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business insight  
  • Experience with JIRA  
  • Knowledge of advertising and/or marketing SaaS and DaaS offerings and digital marketing ecosystems (e.g. CDP, DSP, DMP, SSP). 
  • A strong understanding of key programmatic buyer activities such as planning, activation and measurement. 
  • Product management experience within AdTech 
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs. 
  • Ability to write detailed specifications and vision documents that clearly articulate the ‘why’ behind the problem 
  • Proven team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within an organization, internally and externally 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Must have entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Requirements  

  • Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business or other related Bachelor’s degree
