Inbound Business Development Representative

As an Inbound Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in converting marketing-generated interest into qualified enterprise sales opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who excels at discovery, qualification, and consultative conversations with engaged prospects. You will serve as the first point of contact for inbound leads and work closely with Account Executives to build a strong, high-quality sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, events, content, and website inquiries
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospect challenges, goals, and data needs
- Assess lead fit based on ideal customer profile, business objectives, and buying readiness
- Book qualified Account Development Leads (30-minute meetings) aligned with prospect needs and goals
- Clearly articulate Resonate’s value proposition and position solutions effectively
- Maintain accurate activity, notes, and lead status within Salesforce
- Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and strong meeting outcomes
- Stay informed on industry trends, Resonate’s solutions, and competitive positioning
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- Experience in sales development, inside sales, or demand generation
- Experience qualifying inbound leads for enterprise or mid-market SaaS solutions
- Familiarity selling to marketing, research, analytics, data, or insights teams preferred
- Proven ability to meet or exceed meeting and pipeline targets
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain data-driven or SaaS solutions
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and lead intelligence tools
- Excellent communication, listening, and objection-handling skills
- Highly organized, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred but not required
