We are seeking a Third-Party Marketplace Specialist to lead the growth and daily management of our brand presence across major U.S. retail marketplaces including Home Depot, Walmart, eBay, Best Buy, and Lowe’s.
This position is responsible for driving $5 million in total marketplace sales within 12 months by optimizing listings, improving catalog visibility, coordinating promotions, and ensuring operational excellence across all partner platforms.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, tech-savvy, and entrepreneurial, with deep knowledge of marketplace dynamics, listing optimization, and performance metrics. You should thrive on achieving measurable growth targets while maintaining impeccable operational and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own revenue growth and manage day-to-day operations across Home Depot, Walmart, eBay, Best Buy, and Lowe’s seller platforms.
- Optimize product listings for SEO, conversion, and compliance with each marketplace’s best practices.
- Coordinate new product launches, pricing strategies, and promotions to achieve the $5M annual sales target.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, measure ROI, and develop action plans that improve conversion rates, buy box performance, and ad effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams (catalog, logistics, customer service, and marketing) to maintain accurate inventory, pricing, and product content.
- Ensure marketplace compliance by monitoring platform policies, minimizing order defect rates, and proactively resolving issues.
- Report regularly on revenue progress, advertising results, and operational KPIs to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing large third-party marketplace accounts (preferably multiple platforms such as Walmart, eBay, Home Depot, Best Buy, or Lowe’s).
- Proven track record of managing online stores generating at least $2 million per year in revenue. Strong analytical skills using Excel, Google Sheets, and marketplace dashboards to measure and forecast results.
- Advanced knowledge of marketplace optimization including SEO, content enrichment, and pricing strategies.
- Experience with marketplace advertising platforms, such as Walmart Connect, eBay Promoted Listings, or equivalent.
- Proficiency with marketplace management tools (e.g., ChannelAdvisor, Feedvisor, or similar).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of marketplace fees, fulfillment options, and profit optimization strategies.
