About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven E-commerce Klaviyo Marketing and Campaign Manager to own and scale our Klaviyo email and SMS program. This role is fully accountable for strategy, execution, testing, and revenue performance.

Your primary mission is to drive $15M in attributable revenue within 12–18 months through email and SMS, while building a best-in-class lifecycle program that sustainably contributes 30–40% of total e-commerce revenue. This is a hands-on, outcome-focused role for someone who thrives on ownership, data, and measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Klaviyo email and SMS program end-to-end, including strategy, segmentation, creative briefs, deployment, optimization, and reporting.

  • Build, optimize, and scale automated lifecycle flows such as welcome, browse abandon, cart abandon, post-purchase, win-back, replenishment, and retention programs.

  • Drive revenue growth through disciplined experimentation, running at least two A/B tests per week across subject lines, content, cadence, offers, and audiences.

  • Monitor and protect deliverability, list health, sender reputation, and consent compliance, especially during peak promotional periods.

  • Translate e-commerce, CRM, and customer data into precise targeting and trusted performance reporting aligned with finance and leadership.

  • Partner closely with creative, merchandising, and engineering teams to ensure campaigns are aligned, timely, and conversion-focused.

  • Present clear performance insights and recommendations through dashboards, weekly reporting, and quarterly business reviews.

 

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on e-commerce email and SMS experience, with Klaviyo as the primary ESP.

  • Proven ownership of programs generating $5M+ in annual attributable revenue, with clear methodology and results.

  • Deep understanding of deliverability, authentication, and compliance (DMARC, SPF, DKIM, TCPA, CAN-SPAM).

  • Strong analytical skills, including GA4, attribution modeling, revenue per recipient, LTV, and cohort analysis.

  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort with SQL basics.

  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email, including dynamic content and conditional logic in Klaviyo.

  • Solid experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms and customer data layers.


What Success Looks Like

  • Scaling a Klaviyo program from under $5M to $10M+ in annual revenue within 12 months.

  • Building lifecycle flows that contribute 50% or more of total email/SMS revenue with strong margins.

  • Maintaining 98%+ inbox placement while reducing unsubscribe and spam complaint rates.

  • Driving meaningful list growth, adding 100,000+ qualified subscribers in a year.

  • Clearly tying experiments and lifecycle improvements to financial impact in executive-facing reviews.
