Job Summary
The Sr. Freight & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing US-based Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight operations, ensuring accurate shipping documentation, monitoring shipments end-to-end, and resolving freight issues efficiently. This role plays a key part in controlling freight costs, maintaining compliance with US logistics regulations, and supporting smooth coordination between factories, carriers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities

Manage US LTL freight shipments, including carrier selection and booking

Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documents

Track shipments from pickup through final delivery

Identify and resolve shipment delays, shortages, damages, and misrouted freight

File, monitor, and follow up on freight claims in accordance with US regulations

Coordinate with US factories and carriers on pickup schedules and loading requirements

Audit carrier invoices for rate accuracy, accessorial charges, and billing discrepancies

Dispute overcharges and work with carriers and finance teams to resolve issues

Maintain accurate freight records and provide regular status updates to stakeholders

Ensure compliance with NMFC classifications, packaging standards, and carrier requirements
Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience handling US-based LTL freight operations

Proven experience managing high-volume or high-value freight shipments

Strong working knowledge of US logistics regulations, including NMFC codes

Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) such as GlobalTranz or similar platforms

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Excellent communication skills for working with US-based teams and carriers

Ability to work independently and proactively during US business hours
Preferred Qualifications

Experience handling freight claims and recovery processes

Background in heavy equipment or industrial freight shipping

Familiarity with carrier invoice auditing and cost-control practices
