About the Role

Description:

Our mission is to help customers save time and money when purchasing commercial kitchen equipment and supplies by providing a customer-centric shopping experience and through leveraging our industry buying power.

We are seeking an SEO Content Specialist to work collaboratively in growing and managing our best-in-class ecommerce store. The ideal candidate excels at writing clear, structured content that ranks — producing collection page copy, product descriptions, and blog articles that drive non-branded organic traffic.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute SEO content strategies to improve organic traffic and ecommerce performance

  • Conduct keyword research focused on commercial-intent and non-branded search terms

  • Write and optimize collection page copy, product descriptions, buying guides, and blog articles

  • Implement on-page SEO best practices including title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, and heading structures

  • Monitor content performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics

  • Identify content gaps and opportunities to improve rankings and conversions

  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain content consistency and SEO alignment

  • Maintain consistent production output and independently manage deadlines

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven ability to write long-form SEO content - collection pages, product descriptions, and buying guides (writing samples required)

  • Solid working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics — can read performance data, track keyword positions, and identify opportunities independently

  • Experience with keyword research using Ahrefs, Semrush, or equivalent — with a focus on commercial-intent, non-branded queries

  • Strong grasp of on-page SEO fundamentals: title tags, H1/H2 structure, meta descriptions, internal linking, and keyword placement

  • Experience publishing and managing content in a CMS — Shopify experience is a plus

  • Ability to produce one content deliverable per working day and maintain consistent output without close supervision

  • Strong written English - this is primarily a writing role; clarity, grammar, and structure matter

  • Experience writing for B2B or commercial product ecommerce is a strong advantage (restaurant equipment, food service, industrial, or similar)

  • Experience building or executing a hub & spoke content model is an advantage

  • Experience building internal link structures on ecommerce sites is an advantage

  • Familiarity with Screaming Frog for site audits and internal link analysis
