High School Teacher — General Education

About the role

We are seeking a full-time high school teacher to join our faculty for the upcoming academic year. The teacher will plan and deliver daily instruction, assess student progress, and contribute to a supportive classroom environment for students in grades 9–12.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily lessons aligned to state standards
• Assess student work and maintain accurate, timely grade records
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a productive learning environment
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress
• Differentiate instruction to support students at varying skill levels
• Participate in department meetings, professional development, and school events
• Administer and proctor assessments, including standardized testing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related subject area
• Valid state teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• 2+ years of classroom teaching experience at the secondary level
• Proficiency with Google Classroom
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check

Preferred

• Experience with differentiated instruction
• Experience supervising a student club or extracurricular activity
