Marketing Lead, EMEA

London, England, UK

ABOUT RETOOL

Nearly every company in the world runs on custom software: Gartner estimates that up to 50% of all code is written for internal use. This is the operational software for refunding orders, underwriting loans, onboarding employees, analyzing transactions, and providing customer support. But most companies don’t have adequate resources to properly invest in these tools, leading to a lot of old and clunky internal software or, even worse, users still stuck in manual and spreadsheet flows.

At Retool, we’re on a mission to bring good software to everyone. We’re building a new type of development platform that combines the benefits of traditional software development with a drag-and-drop UI editor and AI, making it dramatically faster to build internal tools. We believe that the future of software development lies in abstracting away the tedious and repetitive tasks developers waste time on, while creating reusable components that act as a force multiplier for future developers and projects. The result is not just productivity, but good software by default. And that’s a mission worth striving for.

Today, our customers span from small startups building their first operational tools to Fortune 500 companies building mission-critical apps for thousands of users across their business. Interested in joining us? Let us know!

WHY WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU:

We're growing fast in EMEA and we need a marketing leader who’s equal parts strategist, builder, and doer. As we deepen our presence in the region, we’re looking for someone who can design and drive a regional marketing strategy from the ground up. From field marketing to demand generation and local campaigns, you’ll be the engine behind our growth in EMEA. You’ll thrive here if you like if you love wearing multiple hats, building programs that generate real demand, and connecting marketing to revenue

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You’ll be based in our London office and partner closely with our Head of EMEA Sales and the broader GTM team to align marketing efforts with revenue goals. You’ll report into our Head of Demand Generation and collaborate with global marketing peers to make sure your regional strategy ladders up to our global priorities, while still reflecting the nuances of EMEA markets. You’ll also oversee a field marketing contractor to start, with the opportunity to build a team under you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for EMEA with an emphasis on field marketing, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and tailored to regional dynamics
  • Own regional demand generation: from digital campaigns to ABM, events, and partner marketing
  • Drive brand awareness across the region through thoughtful positioning, audience insights, and consistent in-market presence
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, buyer needs, and whitespace opportunities; turn insights into actionable marketing strategies
  • Localize global programs and regional campaigns that speak directly to EMEA audiences
  • Partner closely with sales to support pipeline generation and acceleration
  • Track and report on marketing performance in partnership with finance partners; optimize based on data, not gut
  • Build strong internal relationships to make things happen—especially across sales, product, and marketing ops
  • Be a player/coach—happy to set strategy one day and roll up your sleeves the next

THE SKILLSET YOU'LL BRING:

  • 10+ years of proven success building regional marketing programs in a high-growth B2B or SaaS startup environment
  • Strong experience in field marketing and demand generation, with an understanding of what drives pipeline
  • A growth mindset — you're energized by experimentation, learning quickly, and scaling what works
  • Proven ability to elevate brand awareness while driving measurable demand
  • Deep understanding of the EMEA market landscape, including cultural nuances, buyer behavior, and regional channels
  • Experience marketing a technical product, ideally to technical audiences
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; you're confident working with sales leaders and execs
  • Comfortable with data — you use it to inform decisions, track impact, and iterate quickly
  • Natural leadership instincts with a desire to build and coach a high-performing team

Form CC-305

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
