Strategic Sales Director

We are seeking a dynamic, energetic Strategic Sales Director for our West Coast Region of the US. The Strategic Sales Director is a critical role, responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships. This individual will manage a large territory, developing and growing it with strategic sales planning,  and collaborating  cross-functionally to achieve organizational goals.

This role requires 50% travel within the West Region. The position will be a mix of In-Person meetings with large dealer groups and Zoom meetings with incoming leads, referrals, and follow-up from the in-person visits. We are looking for a hustler, who loves being in front of dealers, having conversations and presenting solutions to solve dealer pain points. They need to operate in a fast-paced environment, with constant technology innovation of our platform, translating our SAAS technology into tangible solutions to solve dealers' problems. The ideal candidate will possess deep digital marketing expertise, adaptability, and an ability to operate in the automotive vertical, preferably having a rolodex of dealer clients that trust and value their knowledge within the space.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven success in exceeding sales KPIs, preferably in automotive retail or SaaS industries.
  • Experience using CRM systems for tracking and territory planning.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive dealership processes and business needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, results-focused, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel 75% for in-person dealership prospecting/visit

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through visits, phone calls, and emails to close new business and meet monthly targets.
  • Consult dealers and educate them on the Digital advertising landscape and how Reunion Marketing's technology can make them more efficient and effective with their ad spend dollars
  • Deliver product demos, showing how our solutions can change the way dealers think about digital advertising. 
  • Challenger model philosophy is a must, pushing dealers to think outside the box and imagine a new way to manage their Digital Advertising
  • Identify opportunities, understand dealer needs, and offer solutions that fit their goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both decision-makers and Digital Advertising teams both at the dealer and corporate level
  • Work with our internal Client Success team to ensure smooth product implementation and customer satisfaction after the sale
  • Stay informed about Digital Advertising trends and competitors to adjust sales strategies
  • Provide accurate sales reports and forecasts to management 
  • Use our HubSpot CRM to plan visits, manage leads, and track activity

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in the Automotive industry, with 5+ years experience in-market selling to dealers and digital advertising teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to DEMO our SaSS software to various decision makers
  • Ability to travel 50% in market and along the west coast to cold call and perform demo’s
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing client relationships 
  • Fast-paced, adaptable, and eager to stay current with industry trends and best practices
