You'll work with apps of all sizes from discovery, to commercials, to go-live while coming up with creative solutions for the needs and requirements of each app. At RevenueCat, Sales Engineers are the primary points of contact for customers as they evaluate and purchase - ensuring every interaction is with a technical in-app purchase expert.

About you:

  • You have 5+ years as a top-performing AE, sales, or solutions engineer with a technical product ideally in the mobile or SaaS for engineering / product space.
  • You are proficient in one or more of the following: iOS (Swift / Objective-C), Android (Java / Kotlin), Dart, React Native.

  • You are comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences from engineering teams to the executive suite.
  • You are able to advocate for the customer internally, balancing priorities and competing requests.
  • You thrive in a creative and collaborative environment.

In the first month, you'll:

  • Learn from our product and engineering teams and become an expert on RevenueCat SDKs and APIs
  • Build a sample app, and ship an update to our documentation
  • Start taking inbound sales requests and help close deals

Within the first 3 months, you'll:

  • Know enough about RevenueCat to help a new prospect learn, implement, and go-live with subscriptions unassisted
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering to push public documentation and samples that help drive growth

Within the first 6 months, you'll:

  • Work with several high-value and strategic customers from evaluation to go-live alongside the Sales team
  • Manage stakeholders in sales process, earn influence and technical wins
  • Understand how purchases work across Apple, Google, Amazon, Stripe in nuanced detail
  • Provide feedback and guidance to help influence the product roadmap
  • Spot the inefficiencies in our sales and onboarding process and work to improve them

Within the first 12 months, you'll:

  • Be known for “uneventful” customer launches
  • Potential to hire and mentor (and maybe manage, if you're into that) the next sales engineer(s)
  • Come up with new and exciting ways to delight enterprise customers and developers

What we offer:

  • $200,000 USD salary, regardless of location
  • Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top tier investors including Y Combinator
  • 10 year window to exercise vested equity options
  • Fully remote work environment that promotes autonomy and flexibility
  • Suggested 4 to 5 weeks time off to recharge and focus on mental, physical, and emotional health
  • $2,000 USD to build your personal workspace
  • $1,000 USD annual stipend for your continuous learning and growth
