Merchandising Lead

Revivn is a profitable and rapidly growing company that helps enterprises manage their technology through our end of life software platform. We take electronic recycling one step further by repurposing hardware that still has remaining life and providing it to people who lack dedicated computer access and make it more affordable for people who may not be able to purchase new technology. Working with companies like Instacart, Lyft, Qualtrics, X, Gensler, and Allbirds we are changing the way companies view used technology with a new model that focuses on repurposing instead of recycling.

We are seeking a Merchandising Lead to support our operations in our San Leandro facility! In this key role, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all products listed for resale. This position plays a crucial part in grading devices, maintaining marketplace standards, and optimizing product presentation to enhance customer satisfaction and minimize returns. The ideal candidate thrives in a detail-oriented environment, embraces ambiguity, and is eager to contribute to process improvements.

What you'll do

  • Conduct grading of all processed laptops, ensuring accurate cosmetic assessments and marketplace compliance
  • Ensure product photos are clear, properly centered, and accurately reflect the device's condition
  • Identify and address common defects (e.g., loose keys, misclassified conditions) before product listings go live
  • Manage corrective actions in the Cleaning and Photos process according to findings during grading
  • Assist in queue consolidation, ensuring efficient organization and movement of inventory
  • Provide feedback to the Operations and Resale teams to improve grading accuracy and reduce return rates
  • Support Supervisors by helping to diagnose and resolve quality defects
  • Assist in training team members on grading standards and product quality expectations
  • Assist in developing and enhancing Merchandising operations in close partnership with Operations leadership

What we're looking for 

  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to assess cosmetic conditions consistently
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks while maintaining high accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Tech, and Resale teams
  • Self-motivated with a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in merchandising, quality control, or inventory management is a plus but not required

The salary range for a Merchandising Lead is $23/hr. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each specific candidate; including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, applicable certifications, and geographic work location. This may vary depending on living location and market rate.
