Production and Fulfillment Supervisor

We are hiring a Packaging and Fulfillment Supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the production and fulfillment department, ensuring efficient workflow, quality standards, and timely delivery of products. This role involves managing a team of production and fulfillment staff, coordinating schedules, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices to optimize productivity. The supervisor will also monitor inventory levels, conduct quality checks, prepare reports on performance metrics, and maintain compliance with company and state regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with a focus on continuous improvement and training for team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to Production schedules.  
  • Ensuring efficiency and quality in the processing of orders. 
  • Oversee handling and management of products in the vault. 
  • Maintaining accurate records and conducting regular audits.  
  • Managing staff in Production and Fulfilment departments to achieve performance targets. 
  • Monitoring inventory levels. 
  • Train and develop team members.  
  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be 21 years of age 
  • Must successfully pass a background check 
  • Must obtain a Cultivation Registration Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture. 
  • Ability to perform basic math functions (Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide) 
  • Ability to quickly change duties due to demand. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within the organization. 
  • Ability to multi-task and count large quantities. 
  • Strong Leadership and organizational skills 

 

 

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.  
  • Must be able to work seated/standing as appropriate at workstations for extended periods of time, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, and use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.  
  • Must be able to tolerate strong odors in the workplace. 
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions.  

 

Work Schedule: 

  • 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. 
  •  Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
