Security & Transport Officer

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Delavan cultivation center as Transport Officer. Our cannabis cultivation facility is on the hunt for a Security Superstar to deliver our precious products around the state. Essential Functions:
- Deliveries to permitted dispensaries
- Report writing post event, for operational information, and departmental documentation
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency personnel
- Monitoring and reporting violations of overall safety and security procedures throughout the assigned facility
Qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement 21
- High School diploma or GED required, some college education preferred
- Ability to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI
- Ability to obtain a Cultivation Registration Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture
- Current Driver’s license and a good driving record
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to fluently read and write the English language
- Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft’s Office Suite
- Great attitude and ability to follow direction
Job Type: Full-time Mon-Friday. Shift times will vary but could be 4am-8pm
Salary: Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a $3 increase while on the road

- Ability to maintain clean, bio-secure workspace
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI
- Ability to obtain a Cultivation Registration Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture
Additional Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
- Must be able to tolerate strong odors in the workplace
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as visual inspection involving small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions.
Work Schedule:
- 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
- Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
