Marketing Systems Integration Specialist (Remote - Fractional)

Remote

Job Description:

We are looking for a technically fluent and business-savvy Marketing Systems Integration Specialist to join our growing Marketing Technology team. This mid-level role focuses on the design, implementation, and optimization of integrations across a diverse marketing tech stack—including platforms like Marketo, Salesforce, Adobe, Eloqua, Twilio, and more. You’ll act as the engineering subject matter expert (SME) for marketing systems integration projects, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, mapping system interdependencies, and driving clean data flows that power marketing automation, personalization, and measurement.

This is a contract, hourly role—perfect for experienced professionals who enjoy fast-paced, high-impact work and want the flexibility to engage in meaningful, cutting-edge client initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Systems Integration Architecture & API Proficiency

  • Architect and support integrations between marketing platforms and enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, webhooks, middleware (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato), and message queues.
  • Assess and document system interdependencies, integration points, and data flow designs that support business and technical requirements.
  • Create clear integration specifications that include authentication, payload structure, error handling, and performance considerations.

Technical Feasibility Analysis & Solution Design

  • Lead technical discovery and gap analysis for new integrations or enhancements to existing ones.
  • Evaluate system capabilities, data schemas, and platform compatibility to design robust integration solutions across legacy and modern platforms.
  • Document technical use cases, constraints, dependencies, and phased implementation strategies for stakeholder alignment and project scoping.

Data Migration Planning & Execution Support

  • Lead or support data migration efforts, including mapping, transformation, deduplication, and integrity validation across systems.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to ensure data continuity, clean cutover strategies, and minimal system downtime during transitions.
  • Support ongoing data quality and sync health monitoring between platforms.

Cross-Platform Communication & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders in marketing, legal, and IT.
  • Serve as a trusted partner in cross-functional teams during large system rollouts or transitions, ensuring timely communication and alignment.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including integration diagrams, technical SOPs, enablement materials, and post-implementation guides.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing systems integration, marketing engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing technology platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, Eloqua, Twilio).
  • Proficient in RESTful APIs, middleware tools (e.g., Mulesoft, Workato, Boomi), and event-based architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with integration assessments, gap analysis, and phased rollout planning.
  • Proficient in data mapping and transformation techniques; experience with data deduplication and migration planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of bridging the gap between engineering and business teams.
  • Strong documentation and diagramming skills using tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, Confluence, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes, version control, and modern deployment practices.
  • Experience supporting MarTech transformations, platform replatforming, or large-scale system consolidations.
  • Knowledge of data privacy compliance as it relates to system integrations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Background in agile or hybrid project delivery models.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
