Job Overview
The role of Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) exists to provide insights into business trends and performance to the senior leadership of Rewards Network, affording effective decision making and strategic planning. Through analysis, modeling, and communication, the Manager of FP&A will be expected to work closely with senior leaders across the business to deliver insights that matter – notably so during our annual planning cycle, but also on a continual basis as we deliver disruptive value affording Rewards Network’s evolution into the future.
This is a hybrid position with in office 3 days a week in our Chicago Headquarters.
What you’ll bring to the table: (Responsibilities)
- Partner with Sr. Director of Finance in ownership of Rewards Network’s financial model
- Lead annual financial planning process with departmental directors and managers
- Own management and financial reporting assets and processes
- Perform ad hoc modeling and analysis
- Provide team leadership and support the development of financial staff
- Analyze financial results and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Prepare and present financial forecasts and variance analyses to senior leadership
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and scenario modeling
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather business intelligence and ensure alignment of financial plans with company objectives
- Continuously improve financial planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to financial planning and reporting
Do you have the right mix of ingredients: (Requirements)
- Advanced corporate finance knowledge and analytical skills
- Strong interest and skills with modeling and analysis, with a demonstrated history of success in both
- Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Experience in developing team members, leadership experience a plus
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and align financial plans with business objectives
- Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance in financial reporting
- Continuous improvement mindset for financial planning processes and tools
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 4+ years of experience in corporate finance or financial analysis
- CPA or Master of Science in Accounting a plus

- This is a full time, exempt position, and the base compensation for this opening in Chicago is expected to be $110,000-$135,000 annualized, depending on level, candidate experience, skills and other factors. This position is eligible for a 10% bonus with a total comp of $121,000-$148,500.
