Rexford Industrial Realty, Inc. The Service Desk & AV Support Technician is ideally suited for an individual who has a unique blend of interpersonal skills and a broad understanding of a wide variety of technologies including all facets of traditional end-user computing, mobile, system administration, and audio-visual support for our corporate events. This role will report to our Senior Manager, IT Service Delivery, and will be responsible for providing and delivering IT white glove support for our Executive Leadership and employees and supporting internal and external company events. Candidates should be comfortable with multi-tasking and context switching among many tasks throughout the day while maintaining high attention to detail. Candidates should demonstrate an entrepreneurial and innovative attitude with a determination to deliver timely resolutions to the technical needs of our employees while looking to continuously improve our tools and processes.
The Service Desk & AV Support Technician Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Deliver exceptional IT and AV support, ensuring prompt issue resolution for Executives and employees.
- Proactively ensure that all Executive offices and conference rooms are operating
- Monitor and manage FreshService tickets, escalating as needed and communicating timely updates.
- Maintain detailed documentation for interactions, troubleshooting, update and create knowledge base articles in FreshService.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and device setup (PC deployment, shipping, and return of equipment).
- Assist in internal & external corporate events, collaborating with stakeholders and the Service Desk team.
- Ensure optimal AV system performance, upgrading and maintaining both onsite and virtual experience.
- Work on various IT projects with cross-functional teams.
- Provide occasional after-hours support as needed.
- Based in Brentwood & OC corporate offices, with flexibility to travel to Inland Empire, San Diego, and Ventura.
Service Desk & AV Support Technician Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Certifications in a related
- 2-3+ years of experience working in support of desk side services with specific focus on supporting Executive/VIP levels and their assistants.
- 2-3+ years of experience supporting internal desktop systems (PC) software and hardware, application training, and overall incident ownership.
- 2-3+ years of experience supporting live or corporate events ranging from onsite and hybrid events.
- Strong knowledge of Audio & Video Equipment (V-Mix, Zoom, Heath & Allen Digital Mixers, Shure Systems, and more)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clear and concise information in technical and non-technical terms based on the audience.
- Proficient level knowledge in Microsoft products, g., Windows OS, Active Directory, Enterprise Office 365, Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams.
- Proficient level knowledge with basic networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, Ethernet).
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical/problem solving abilities, time management and the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent project and time management skills with the ability to manage expectations in a deadline-driven environment while balancing strategic projects with day-to-day
- Ability to work well within a team environment and keep manager informed on all

- ITIL Foundation Certification, ITIL V4 preferred

Compensation
Rexford Industrial's reward plan includes great compensation packages, bonus eligibility, and long-term stock incentives. The expected hourly rate range for this role is $35.38 to $42.98 (annualized equivalent $73,600 to $89,400), with a 10% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.* The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letter.
