Marketing Manager

We are seeking a versatile, highly collaborative and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to help drive marketing and communications efforts across the organization. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing & Communications, this role will support a diverse range of initiatives, including corporate communications, internal communications, social media, events, partnership marketing initiatives and brand marketing. The successful candidate will demonstrate creativity, excellent communication and project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and industry stakeholders.

 Location: #LI-Hybrid / Costa Mesa, CA

Work Arrangement: You will follow a hybrid work model, offering a balanced blend of remote and in-office work.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop marketing materials and campaigns that support business objectives and strengthen the Rexford brand.
  • Write, edit and manage a wide variety of communications and marketing materials, including internal communications, newsletters, social media content, presentations, email campaigns and collateral.
  • Manage social media, contributing to content creation and overseeing analytics and strategy implementation.
  • Help manage the execution of high-impact events and experiences that strengthen relationships, elevate the Rexford brand and support key business objectives.
  • Coordinate multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Serve as a steward of the Rexford brand, ensuring all communications, events and initiatives reinforce our voice, defining principles and business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted marketing resource across the organization, providing communications support, project coordination and creative problem-solving for a variety of initiatives.
  • Promote culture of curiosity, learning, continuous improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations or a related discipline. Commercial real estate experience a plus.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with demonstrated experience contributing to a wide range of communications, including internal communications, social media content, presentations, email campaigns and marketing collateral. Familiarity with AP style.
  • Strong marketing generalist and proven project manager with experience supporting diverse initiatives across communications, events, social media, digital marketing, partnership marketing and content development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-first approach with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and resourceful, with a willingness to take ownership and contribute wherever needed.

 Compensation

Rexford Industrial's total reward plan includes a premier benefits package, bonus eligibility and long-term stock incentives. The expected annual base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $130,000, with a 15% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility.*The actual base salary and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letter.

*These stock grants are subject to approval by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors, are currently subject to vesting over a four-year period, with 25% of the grant vesting per year, and require continued employment on the grant date and each applicable vesting date. Actual bonus and stock grants are discretionary based on company and/or individual performance determined by Rexford Industrial in its sole discretion, and the amount of any such bonus and/or stock grant may be less or more than the targets (and may be zero).
