Strategic Account Executive: Australia & New Zealand Territory

Distributed - US

Strategic Account Executive: Australia & New Zealand Territory

Remote (Pacific Time, Alaska Time, or Hawaii Time zones preferred to support ANZ business hours)

We exist to transform our customers and change lives.

Who We're Looking For:

As the Strategic Account Executive for Australia and New Zealand, you will serve as the strategic architect of customer success across the entire ANZ region. You'll own a portfolio of enterprise relationships where your consultative approach directly drives both customer transformation and RF-SMART's growth in this critical market. This role uniquely positions you as the primary RF-SMART connection for ANZ customers, requiring you to bridge continents, collaborate across time zones, and build lasting partnerships that turn customers into advocates. Your ability to understand complex business challenges, identify expansion opportunities, and orchestrate seamless experiences will directly impact our recurring revenue and market presence in the region.

What You'll Accomplish

Strategic Relationship Leadership

  • Own the complete customer lifecycle for your ANZ portfolio, transforming initial relationships into long-term strategic partnerships that consistently renew and expand
  • Orchestrate account strategy and growth by developing comprehensive plans that identify upsell opportunities, anticipate customer needs, and position RF-SMART as an indispensable partner
  • Build executive relationships that give you access to decision-makers, enabling you to shape technology roadmaps and position RF-SMART solutions that drive measurable business outcomes

Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management

  • Drive subscription renewals and expansion revenue that fuel RF-SMART's growth targets while ensuring customers realize continuous value from their investment
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline that accurately forecasts opportunities and consistently delivers against revenue targets
  • Negotiate enterprise contracts at senior levels, leveraging your business acumen to structure agreements that create win-win outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Bridge time zones and teams to ensure ANZ customers receive responsive, seamless service by collaborating effectively with Customer Care, Support, and Pre-Sales resources
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, providing clear communication to all departments about ANZ market needs, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
  • Leverage internal resources strategically to orchestrate customer visits, deliver compelling presentations, and close complex sales cycles

Market Intelligence & Positioning

  • Position RF-SMART competitively by maintaining deep knowledge of alternative solutions and articulating our differentiated value in ways that resonate with each customer's unique business context
  • Develop customer advocates who become references and champions, amplifying RF-SMART's reputation in the ANZ market
  • Stay ahead of industry trends within manufacturing and distribution sectors, bringing insights that help customers and RF-SMART evolve together

What You Bring (Must-Have Requirements)

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in software or technology sales, with consistent top-level performance
  • Consultative selling expertise that enables you to understand complex business needs, ask insightful questions, and position solutions in a business context rather than simply pitching features
  • Relationship-building mastery with the ability to quickly build rapport, forge authentic connections, and maintain long-term strategic partnerships
  • CRM proficiency with systems such as Salesforce, Oracle/Siebel, or NetSuite—you keep data current and use it to drive strategy
  • Location/schedule flexibility to work hours aligned with Pacific, Alaska, or Hawaii time zones, with willingness to accommodate ANZ business hours through flexible scheduling
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills that enable you to develop comprehensive account strategies, qualify opportunities effectively, and navigate complex sales cycles
  • Executive presence and negotiation capabilities that allow you to present confidently to senior leadership and structure mutually beneficial agreements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent work experience demonstrating your capabilities)
  • Experience with NetSuite or familiarity with ERP systems and their business impact
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, supply chain challenges, or warehouse operations
  • Previous experience managing accounts across international boundaries or working with ANZ markets
  • High technical acumen or experience selling software/hardware solutions to technical audiences

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't a typical account management position. You'll have true ownership of an entire geographic region, giving you entrepreneurial freedom to shape the ANZ customer experience. The time zone dynamics require flexibility but also mean you'll often have uninterrupted time during US mornings to focus on strategic work, planning, and internal collaboration. You'll be building something meaningful—serving as the face of RF-SMART across an entire region where your relationships directly translate to customer transformations and company growth.

The role offers significant autonomy with strong support. While travel is limited, you'll have the resources and backing to orchestrate impactful customer visits and attend regional trade shows when strategic. You'll work alongside a collaborative Sales team that has each other's backs and Customer Care/Support partners who are committed to customer success.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
