Jacksonville, Florida, United States

Product Owner – Shipping

Location:  Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid)

We exist to transform our customers and change lives

Who We're Looking For

As a Product Owner in Shipping, you will partner with Product Strategy and Engineering teams to drive continuous innovation and maintain excellence in our established parcel shipping solution. You'll accelerate development velocity by bridging business requirements and technical implementation. Starting with discovery, you are inquisitive to understanding customer problems focused on delivering great outcomes. This ongoing habit promotes the behavior and mindset required for priority management, the development process, and customer approval of new features and enhancements that deliver the right outcomes.

Our ERP integrated shipping solution automates warehouse shipping operations for maximum efficiency and cost optimization in the pack to ship workflow. This role requires product development expertise, outside-in customer centricity and unrelenting dedication to delivering high quality value to our customers as quickly as possible. If you're energized by meaningful product work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment and you want to see your decisions matter, then this is the right role for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Accelerate delivery velocity by translating strategic goals into precise functional specifications and user stories that give engineering the clarity needed to build the right thing, fast
  • Own prioritization and make tough, informed and data driven calls that balance new feature development, stability, and customer-reported issues to maximize value at every sprint
  • Build relationships with customers surfacing real-world insights that shape a ruthlessly focused roadmap - one that evolves what customers value, not just what sounds good
  • Partner with engineering to define technical and functional approaches that drive consistent design patterns, reduce rework, and produce maintainable solutions that fit seamlessly into warehouse workflows
  • Champion cross-functional alignment by connecting Engineering, Product Strategy, Sales, and Support - accelerating feedback loops and ensuring everyone is building toward the same customer outcome
  • Apply ERP and modern tech expertise (particularly NetSuite and AWS) to shape solutions that are architecturally sound, scalable, and genuinely elevate the user experience
  • Stay ahead of the ecosystem - tracking NetSuite updates, carrier API changes, AI advancements, and industry shifts to anticipate what's coming and position the product to evolve ahead of it
  • Elevate product documentation by partnering with Technical Writers to produce content that's accurate, clear, and reduces the support burden on customers and internal teams
  • Validate and triage support-submitted issues, strategically separating what needs immediate attention from what belongs on the roadmap - keeping quality high without sacrificing momentum
  • Serve as a go-to resource for sales, services and support teams on complex customer use cases, ensuring proposed solutions are viable, scalable, and protect the integrity of the product

 What You Need:

  • Proven ability to translate complexity into clarity - you've turned ambiguous business requirements into functional specs that engineering teams could actually build from, and you have results to show for it
  • Product lifecycle ownership experience - including strategic prioritization of features that balance customer value, business impact, and system stability
  • Strong communication across all channels - written, verbal, and visual - with a track record of bridging technical and business perspectives to drive alignment without unnecessary back-and-forth
  • Hands-on experience managing an established product with an active customer base - you know how to balance the tension between innovation and not breaking what works
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably NetSuite - you understand how they're architected, where their constraints live, and how integrations behave in practice
  • Practical experience with AI technologies - whether you've integrated AI capabilities into a product, used AI to enhance your own workflow, or are genuinely passionate about applying it in real business contexts
  • Self-directed and organized under pressure - you manage multiple competing priorities without losing focus on what matters most, and you don't need a lot of hand-holding to deliver

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud architecture and AWS services, and how to leverage them for reliable, scalable product solutions
  • Experience with shipping carrier APIs, rate shopping logic, or multi-carrier integration platforms
  • Background in eCommerce, warehouse operations, parcel shipping, or logistics that gives you genuine industry context
  • Experience coordinating or contributing to product documentation for complex, technical functionality
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, computer science, or equivalent practical experience that demonstrates analytical thinking and domain knowledge

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
