We are seeking an accomplished intelligence professional to lead our Intelligence organization as Senior Director of Intelligence. You will oversee our analysis and targeting teams, driving the development of world-class intelligence products and capabilities that directly support our customers' critical missions. This role combines deep intelligence tradecraft with product-focused leadership, requiring both operational intelligence experience and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product capabilities.

This role is based in Washington, D.C. and requires U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities:

Lead and Scale Core Teams

  • Oversee and expand the Analysis and Targeting teams, driving innovation and execution, and ensuring both teams deliver exceptional value to new and existing customers. 
  • Establish vision, goals, workflow structure, and refresh standards to help each team scale sustainably as customer adoption and demand grows.
  • Build and nurture a culture of analytic excellence, innovation, and speed — true to a startup environment.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain world-class intelligence analysts and targeting specialists, fostering a culture of analytic rigor, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Mentor future leaders and build an organization that can thrive amid the fast pace and creative problem-solving of an innovative, fast-growing, small company.

Advance Targeting Capabilities Through Product Collaboration

  • Partner closely with product teams to translate customer intelligence requirements into product features and capabilities, ensuring our platform meets the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Translate complex customer intelligence needs into actionable product requirements that drive platform differentiation and mission impact.

Establish Intelligence Standards and Tradecraft

  • Develop a system that ensures high intelligence production standards, analytic methodologies, and quality control processes that can scale.
  • Ensure that teams adopt and internalize this system (think less ‘enforcement’ and more ‘this is our baseline’).
  • Guide the development and delivery of finished intelligence products that are timely, accurate, and operationally relevant, and have a plan to scale delivery based on demand.
  • Ensure our tradecraft meets Intelligence Community standards while embracing new methods and technologies that push the field forward.

Customer Engagement

  • Engage directly with customers to understand mission requirements, gather feedback on intelligence products, and identify opportunities to enhance our capabilities and offerings.

Collaborate with Go-to-Market Teams: 

  • Work closely with sales leadership to support business development efforts, provide technical intelligence expertise during sales cycles, and ensure successful customer onboarding and adoption.

Represent Intelligence Excellence: 

  • Serve as the company's senior intelligence voice with customers, partners, and at industry events, building credibility and trust within the Intelligence Community.

Qualifications 

  • 15+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, targeting, or related intelligence disciplines, with significant experience in the Intelligence Community (CIA, DIA, NSA, NGA, or other IC agencies) or DoD intelligence organizations.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing intelligence teams, including hiring, developing, and scaling high-performing analyst and/or targeting teams in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
  • Deep understanding of Intelligence Community standards, tradecraft, and analytic methodologies, including experience producing finished intelligence products for senior decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to translate intelligence requirements into technical capabilities, with experience working alongside product management, engineering, or technology teams to build intelligence-focused tools or platforms.
  • Experience supporting customer-facing functions, including delivering briefings, conducting training sessions, and engaging with customers at senior levels (GS-14+, O-5+, or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex intelligence concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives, customers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required or ability to obtain one quickly.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Data Science, or related field preferred.
