Hospitality and Events Coordinator

Summary- Riboli Family Wines is hiring a Hospitality and Events Coordinator for our San Antonio Winery location in Los Angeles, CA. This vibrant venue hosts a dynamic events program featuring signature wine dinners, seasonal pairings, and interactive experiences. We’re looking for a Hospitality & Events Coordinator who is passionate about people, food, and wine, with a naturally cheerful attitude and a commitment to delivering enthusiastic, exceptional customer service. In this role, you will assist in planning, organizing, and executing all banquet functions at San Antonio Winery, supporting our ongoing mission to provide outstanding guest experiences and drive financial success. Key events include weddings, corporate gatherings, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and more.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary
• Conduct tours of event spaces for prospective and confirmed guests.
• Provide exceptional customer service to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of San Antonio Winery products and confidently communicate this information to guests and clients
• Leverage hospitality expertise to develop a high-quality and satisfactory relationship with every guest
• Receiving all events inquiries and conducting all correspondence with prospective and confirmed clients
• Acting as a liaison between the client and the head staff to accurately communicate all pertinent details and information correlating to that event, ensuring all parties involved are clear on all event components
• Delegate tasks to support staff and vendors as needed for each event, ensuring that all team members understand their responsibilities and event timelines
• Support event setup, greet clients upon arrival, and assist with event execution as needed.
• Coordinate events staff schedules as directed by the manager
• Follow up with clients promptly after events to express thanks and encourage repeat business.
• Prepare printed materials for events, including menus and place cards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate event details, dietary requirements, and menu timing
• Communicate client updates to ensure food and beverage preparation aligns with expectations
• Coordinate with outside vendors (e.g., florists, linen, rental companies) to provide a comprehensive event experience tailored to each client’s needs
Additional Job Duties:
• Assist in building weekly schedules
• Perform data entry and create required templates, documents, and forms.
• Collect payments and ensure all transactions are properly logged with proof of payment
• Ensure that all event details are accurately recorded in the Banquet Event Orders (BEO) book and are fully prepared for the upcoming work week
• Achieve monthly sales goals by actively generating new business opportunities (tour bus groups, conferences, monthly business meetings etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3+ years in hospitality or restaurant environment
• Proficiency in TripleSeat, Microsoft Office, Canva; experience with Tock and 7shifts is a plus
• Excellent written, verbal, and phone communication skills
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Positive, proactive attitude with a team-player mindset
• Proactive problem solving, strong decision making, and delegation skills
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to work weekends
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or Italian) a plus

Pay Range
$24 - $27 USD
