Role Summary:

The Manager, IT Systems & Network Infrastructure is responsible for leading a team of IT professionals offering guidance, mentorship, and performance management. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s systems, multi-site network infrastructure, cloud services, and end-user environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.

 IT Operations & Infrastructure Management

  • Lead IT operations including advanced technical support, infrastructure administration, and Salesforce platform governance (Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud).
  • Oversee enterprise-wide technology projects, system/network design, and implementation to optimize service and business continuity.
  • Ensure the operational health of the networked systems including security, availability, maintenance, performance, interoperability and reliability.
  • Daily administration and support of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN infrastructure across multiple sites, including management of the Unifi Network Controller for multi-site environments, AP provisioning, SSIDs, VLANs, and VPN configurations.
  • Assist in the administration and support of Microsoft Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Entra, infrastructure, mobile access, etc.
  • Maintenance of SharePoint sites and sub sites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, items, permissions and access etc.)

 

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of support technicians, fostering accountability and high performance.
  • Interact daily with IT team to provide and share technical issue resolution knowledge and deployment/adoption best practice processes.

IT Strategy & Governance

  • Promotes the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process by identifying quality indicators and opportunities for departmental and organizational process improvement.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and manage vendor relationships to support organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with business units to anticipate service requirements and drive IT initiatives.
  • Establish IT policies, procedures, and standards while aligning technology strategy with organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps to ensure solutions remain leading edge in terms of functionality, security, performance and availability.

Systems & Platform Administration

  • Responsible for systems administration which includes managing and supporting Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, performing system administration and monitoring tasks, and providing support for file servers, print servers, shared resources, and end users across multiple locations
  • Responsible for providing user support, troubleshooting, and performing basic administration for Salesforce environments, including Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud.
  • Involved throughout the lifecycle of (Azure/ Microsoft 365) key projects.
  • Oversee and manage licensing for Office 365, Salesforce, and end-user applications as part of system administration responsibilities.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Responsible for organizing and resolving escalated technical issues for Windows, macOS, and productivity tools, as well as troubleshooting printers, peripherals, and network-connected devices.
  • Oversee and manage escalated helpdesk cases, ensuring timely resolution of complex technical issues and providing hands-on support when necessary.
  • The position also involves coordinating with Salesforce administrators or external vendors to resolve escalated issues.
  • Provide advanced hardware and software support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.

 IT Asset & Data Management

  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent client information.
  • Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, imaging, inventory, and decommissioning.

Education, Experience, & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT management experience in multi-site environments.
  • Certifications in Microsoft 365/Windows Server/Azure preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, Unifi Network Controller, and multi-site cloud-managed environments is required
  • Familiarity with Sage Products, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Sales Cloud
  • Knowledge of VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPN, routing fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory on premise and Azure AD
  • Experience in supporting manufacturing environments with IT solutions across multiple business scenarios and geographies
  • Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state).

Pay Range

$120,000 - $200,000 USD
