Role Summary:

The Digital Content Strategist is responsible for coordinating and maintaining accurate, complete, and compliant product content across PIM systems, retailer platforms, and B2B portals. This role owns day-to-day product content management within Salsify and related systems, including new item and vintage setup, product copy, imagery, Enhanced Content, and asset readiness to ensure products are correctly represented across consumer-facing and trade environments.

Working cross-functionally with Marketing, eCommerce, Sales, and Operations, this role supports innovation launches, retailer programs, and ongoing content updates, partnering with internal teams and external agencies to execute best practices and meet retailer requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable managing multiple content workflows while ensuring data integrity and accuracy across platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Current duties may be changed if job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.

  • Own the process of new item and vintage setup, as well as ongoing product content updates, within Salsify (full portfolio) and other systems as required.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor all Enhanced Content modules, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, compliance, and timely updates across platforms.
  • Own product content accuracy across priority retailers and B2B platforms, including eRNDC and BBG Now.
  • Manage and maintain the Master Request File to ensure complete, accurate, and launch-ready product content.
  • Audit content health and performance across key retailer and distributor websites, leveraging tools such as Profitero and partnering with the eCommerce team to identify syndication gaps and optimization opportunities.
  • Continually optimize images, video, copy, and SEO to ensure best practices are followed across all products, and regularly report on performance metrics and insights.
  • Provide support with asset requests, product imagery, and content pulls for retailer programs, innovation initiatives, and brand teams.
  • Assist with campaign setup, management, cross-functional communication, and post-campaign recaps as assigned.
  • Work closely with eCommerce, Digital, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to implement best practices for creating and managing visual assets, including collaborating with agency partners and directly adjusting or creating assets as needed (resizing, swapping bottle shots, light edits).
  • Support marketing by creating and optimizing brand product copy for innovation, Salsify, and retailer-facing use, while monitoring retailer requirements and competitor content through ongoing research and audits to identify opportunities to enhance product content, digital shelf images, creative assets, and executional best practices.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to refresh digital product content quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Apply a performance-driven mindset to assess what is working and what is not, using data, analytics, and storytelling to adjust, improve, and accelerate content across brands.
  • Show passion for bringing brand stories to life in an omnichannel environment, with a focus on improving the consumer experience across all retailer touchpoints.
  • Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships across chain sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, human resources, legal, IT, and external agency partners.
  • Maintain professionalism when working with Riboli brands and suppliers, ensuring company standards and expectations are consistently upheld.
  • Thrive in a high-performance, entrepreneurial environment, managing multiple priorities with strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Highly adaptable and comfortable switching between priorities and responsibilities as business needs change, with a strong team-first mindset and consistent follow-through on commitments.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly, with strong technical curiosity and comfort working across evolving platforms and technologies.
  • Proactive, scrappy, and execution-focused, with a bias toward action, problem-solving, and figuring things out rather than waiting for perfect direction.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience enabling successful performance of job responsibilities. Equivalent experience may include supplier, distributor, or wine/CPG industry roles.
  • Project management experience, including managing large product catalogs and navigating diverse retailer and distributor requirements.
  • Experience in eCommerce, retailer/distributor environments, and/or CPG strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and communicate solutions clearly.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, accurate reports, correspondence, and presentations as needed.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information professionally and respond effectively to questions from internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and comfort learning and working within additional company software platforms.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
