Summary:
The Hospitality and Event Manager at Riboli Family Wines will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of our hospitality and events department. This individual will play a crucial part in enhancing the guest experience, supporting business growth, and increasing brand visibility. The ideal candidate thrives in our interactive special events setting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.
- Assist in planning and executing a variety of events, including wine tastings, tours, private events, and seasonal promotions to increase visitation and brand awareness.
- Oversee event logistics, staffing, and guest services to ensure smooth event operations.
- Manage event timelines, budgets, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams for seamless event execution.
- Track event performance and metrics, providing insights and suggestions for improving future events.
- Engage with guests during events to ensure a memorable experience and address any questions or concerns.
- Collect guest feedback to help improve future events and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Total ownership in the planning and execution of special events. Including working with booking and paying vendors, staffing, menu planning, and promotional marketing.
- Manage and train a team to ensure a positive and efficient working environment.
- Ensure all team members provide exceptional customer service during events and maintain high standards of guest experience.
- Help with delegating tasks and overseeing event day operations.
- Manage the scheduling process and collaborate with upper management for schedule approvals.
- Serve as the liaison between ownership and the events team, effectively communicating departmental needs.
- Work with cross-functional teams throughout other company locations.
- Ensure that event coordinators submit weekly recaps in a timely manner.
- Facilitate team collaboration on special events to ensure seamless execution.
- Establish and track monthly sales targets for the team.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the events department and provide training to both new and existing employees.
- Enforce disciplinary measures related to attendance and misconduct as needed.
- Oversee timecard management and ensure employees are complying with meal/break regulations.
Education, Experience, & Skill Required:
- Must be willing to work weekends and during events
- Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality, or tourism management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with hospitality, wine, spirits, or culinary industries is preferred.
- Tech savvy
- Experience using Tock, 7shifts, Triple seat, and Asana preferred.

Pay Range
$70,000 - $80,000 USD
