Summary-
The Assistant Tasting Room Manager supports the daily operations of our Paso Robles tasting room, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, team performance, and operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on leader who exemplifies our core hospitality values and is passionate about wine, food, and outstanding service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.
- Assisting with all daily restaurant management operations.
- Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Responding efficiently and accurately to all restaurant customer issues.
- Enlivening our core hospitality values from warm welcome through fond farewell.
- Maintain restaurant revenue, profitability, and quality goals.
- A successful candidate will lead by example, and uplift staff in our fast-paced environment.
- Assist as needed with food prep and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle high-stress situations calmly and with good judgment to please customers and keep staff focused on daily goals.
- Manage Restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to protect and improve it.
- Promote our brand in the community through word-of-mouth and special events.
Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
- 4 years of experience in a leadership position.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Administration, or Culinary Arts preferred/or equivalent work experience.
- Proven track record of success in Restaurant Hospitality or similar role.
- Proven customer service experience as a leader.
- A passion for sharing wine knowledge to inspire staff and customers about our products.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software like Micros POS.
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
- Ability to remain composed and professional in dynamic environments.
- Available to work flexible schedule: including days, nights, weekends, holidays.
- Food and beverage (F&B) knowledge: ability to recall menu ingredients and preparations to educate staff and guests.
- Food Safety certification (e.g., SERV Safe)

$30 - $34 USD
