Lead Mechanic (all genders) in Copenhagen

The Lead Mechanic is the most senior technical position within the mechanic team and plays a key role in the day-to-day success of our operations in Copenhagen. While Operations Supervisors focus on the broader shift performance of the whole Operations team, the Lead Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that all workshop repair and maintenance work is carried out to a high standard, with maximum efficiency. This includes organizing daily tasks for the mechanic team, supporting hands-on repair work where needed, and driving process improvements on the ground. The Lead Mechanic also ensures that our vehicles are safe, road-ready, and quickly returned to service. This is a 100% on-site position in Copenhagen-Taastrup.


THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT

  • Lead and support the local team of mechanics
  • Create shift plans and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Oversee diagnostics and repairs of e-scooters and e-bikes
  • Monitor workflow and prioritize urgent repairs
  • Train new team members and support ongoing development
  • Ensure safety, quality, and repair standards are met
  • Partially support hands-on repairs in complex cases
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools
  • Keep the warehouse organized and efficient
  • Coordinate with street teams and operations management

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven hands-on experience with repairing e-scooters, e-bikes, bicycles, or other vehicles
  • Previous experience in a team lead or shift supervisor role (formal or informal)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage schedules, people, and parts flow
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable using basic tech tools (e.g. fleet software, tablets)
  • English skills are required; local language skills are a plus
