Operations Fleet Supervisor

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial Fleet Supervisor Ops to develop and lead our operations team at Tier-Dott in Utrecht. This role is ideal for an early-career professional interested in honing real-world management skills. You will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for building and coordinating both the fleet and warehouse teams

The role and your impact

  • Lead a large and diverse team of drivers, e-bike riders, field technicians, mechanics, and warehouse workers;
  • Manage the e-bike fleet and warehouse operations to meet key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Analyze e-bike usage and demand patterns together with the General Manager to optimize logistics costs and improve fleet strategy;
  • Continuous improvement of our fleet strategy, conduct A/B testing of deployment zones and points;
  • Oversee scheduling, attendance, and general administration of your operations team;
  • Organize and manage the flow of work in the warehouse, including facility and vehicle upkeep, and ensure workplace safety;
  • Maintain an overview of inventory and logistics, collaborating with the supply chain to ensure the availability of necessary parts and tools;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for emergency services;
  • Track and evaluate important KPIs and team performance, and make data-driven decisions to drive improvements.

You'll fit great with these skills and qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse management, retail, logistics, transportation, operations management, or consulting;
  • Strong analytical skills. You enjoy solving complex problems concerning e-bike utilization and efficiency;
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities;
  • Ability to justify decisions with data and measure results;
  • Hands-on approach: willing to work directly with your team on the ground;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: capable of making decisions, learning from experience, and repeating successes;
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required;
  • Done is better than perfect. We need to move fast, but be mindful of our surroundings.
