Team Lead Operations Bristol / Permanent position
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Bristol. In this role you will ensure the smooth operations of our fleet, coordinate a team of associates and handle key communications with external partners.
What you’ll do
- Oversee and coordinate a team of associates working on a shift based schedule;
- Regularly track and maintain the health and performance of the fleet ensuring operational efficiency by maximising the number of operational vehicles and minimising the number of inactive vehicles;
- Act as the first point of contact for addressing and resolving any operational issues or concerns during your shift;
- Train new team members, ensuring they understand the operational processes and procedures to the company standards;
- Provide administrative assistance to the operations team, including tracking schedules, updating records and reporting KPIs;
- Plan, organise and oversee our participation in events in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with external partners, vendors, event organisers and the local council;
- Draft and distribute memos, briefs and updates to ensure alignment and clear communication across internal and external stakeholders;
What you’ll need
- Proven experience in team coordination or supervisory role, ideally within an operational or logistics environment;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities effectively;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience in event management or working with external stakeholders such as vendors is a plus;
- Administrative and reporting skills in standard office tolls (MS Office, G-workspace);
- Availability to work in a Thursday - Monday / 14:00 - 22:30 shift pattern / schedule flexibility is required on event days to accommodate operational demands;
- Valid driver’s licence;
- Proficiency in English.
