Health and Safety Manager is a part of the central team responsible for developing policies, training and procedures, ensuring local compliance through audits and managing incidents.
This position is based in Poland and the H&S specialist acts as the primary representative for the team with the local teams and the authorities.
THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT
Development and Implementation of Central Health and Safety Standards:
- Develop processes and procedures adapted to our operations and needs.
- Develop trainings adapted to our operations and needs.
- Translate health and safety documentation, training materials, and guidelines into local language, ensuring clarity and legal accuracy.
- Adapt global health and safety frameworks to meet local regulatory requirements.
Health & Safety Representative:
- Act as the primary health and safety contact for CEE employees and management.
- Act as the primary health and safety contact for CEE officials (authorities etc)
- Build strong working relationships with local teams to ensure smooth implementation of safety measures.
- Liaise with local regulatory bodies, inspectors, and auditors as needed.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Support investigation of incidents to ensure we learn from them and adapt our processes.
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Proven ability to manage projects independently

Previous experience in content creation, policy writing, or procedure development is preferred

Strong interest in operations and/or infrastructure topics

Basic understanding of regulatory environments in CEE countries

Educational background in Operations, Business, or Administration (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)

Prior experience in operations within an industrial setting or in Health & Safety

Fluency in Polish and strong command of English, both written and spoken
