GET AN IMPRESSION OF THE TEAM
At Dott, you’ll join our dynamic Public Policy team, working closely in a team of three Regional Managers and the Director of Public Policy across Germany and the DACH region. Each Manager oversees a different part of the country – with you focusing on the South (Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria). The team collaborates closely across regions and supports one another in shared challenges and opportunities. You will also partner cross-functionally with teams such as Legal, Operations, and Central Policy to help shape the future of urban mobility and advocate for smarter, more sustainable cities.
THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT
- Represent Dott with local authorities, public institutions, and other stakeholders across South Germany.
- Act as a trusted advisor to cities and policy-makers on shared and sustainable mobility topics.
- Build strategic partnerships with public transport operators and lead MaaS and city data-sharing initiatives.
- Develop commercial collaborations with local companies, universities, and other influential networks.
- Lead business development and regional expansion efforts, including license management and tender participation.
- Represent Dott at conferences, city roundtables, and respond to regional media inquiries.
YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Degree in business, public policy, sales, or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in public policy/affairs, PR, consulting, sales or related fields.
- Experience in the mobility, transport, or sustainability sector is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong business acumen, with an analytical and creative approach to challenges.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, proactive mindset.
- Strong communicator and negotiator with excellent presentation skills.
- Comfortable representing the company in public and media contexts.
- Skilled at building and maintaining professional networks.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Language & Location:
- Excellent communication and writing skills in German for external communication.
- Fluent in English (mostly for internal communication).
- Based in Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg (furthest possibility Frankfurt am Main).
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
