JOB SUMMARY

 As the first point of contact, you provide each guest with a glimpse into BYD/RIDE. Our ideal candidate is a friendly and personable individual who can provide a warm welcome to all visitors and help maintain office operations for our employees. Under supervision of the Administrative Supervisor, the receptionist performs a wide variety front desk and administrative responsibilities for the BYD/RIDE Pasadena Corporate Headquarters. The ideal candidate ensures support and completion of tasks in a timely manner while maintaining quality work. Management retains the discretion of adding or changing the duties of the position at any time. 


JOB DESCRIPTION
•    Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors. 
•    Updates visitor calendar and maintains security by following procedures for visitors
•    Manage 2 multi-system landlines and properly route calls to correct personnel. 
•    Manage all incoming mail, packages, and deliveries, and creating shipping labels as needed. 
•    Becoming a liaison for office vendors and property management. 
•    Maintain a clean, organized front desk and conference rooms before and after each use. 
•    Assist HR with New Hire Onboarding and Offboarding. 
•    Assist with company catering orders and events. 
•    Manage internal meeting calendar. 
•    Support general office operations and administrative tasks as assigned. 
•    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.


REQUIREMENTS: 
•    Minimum 2 year work experience in office or similar roles are preferred 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
•    Detailed-oriented when performing administrative duties 
•    Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment

This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
